Chrono Cross Remake possibly in production

on it's own it's not a bad game at all

but as something that's suppose to be a follow up / connected to one of the GOATs, there were expectations

if it wasn't named CC or even try to connect itself to the GOAT, it probably would have been looked at better during release

People realize this in retrospect which is why I think theres a new found interest in it because were three decade divorced from CT

I was highly upset with Chrono cross at 1st. But once I accepted it for what it was I could appreciate it more...


I wish it was a bit more direct and overtly connected to Chrono trigger.


And that's why I'm hopeful this is a remake instead of a remaster

Cross posting from r/AnotherEdenGlobal/ but it seems files for a future collab with Chrono Cross were found in the game. While this obviously doesn't confirm anything and Chrono Cross and Another Eden do share quite a few similarities (shares staff, time travelling plot etc) the timing seems really suspicious. Rumors have been picking up that we might be seeing a Chrono Cross remaster and this could be adding fuel to the fire.

We can only wait and see for now but where there's smoke there's fire imo.
