Have you ever honestly studied these other faiths? I doubt Catholics, Muslims or Jews would agree with your assessment of their beliefs. As if that alone, didn’t render your post worthless, your disrespect towards others’ beliefs is a pathetic representation of yourself and whatever set of beliefs you’re claiming.

Can you show me any examples of Jesus acting like you? :jbhmm:

I have and there was no disrespect, only facts, if they have a problem with these facts they can address me

what am I acting like exactly? Go in explicit detail

You’re acting like a pompous know it all a$$hole.

Only problem is you don’t know anything.

God sent His son to Earth? You know this? Or you believe this? Someone told you this and you believed it. You have NO recollection, personally, of what you speak. You don’t even know how foolish you sound pretending to know everything. :mjlol:

Do you believe Jesus was literally born from a virgin or that he literally died and was resurrected? :mjpls:

I believe you are following a warped interpretation of Jesus’ message.

The rest of your post is comical. Hate God? Blasphemy? What are you even talking about? :russ:

This is what happens when you realize “your truth” is just a bunch of lines you repeat from someone else. What is YOUR interpretation of the Bible?

This is what happens when sheep are asked questions. You have no real answers because you haven’t done any thinking for yourself.

I’ll ask you again so the question can truly reach you: Do you believe Jesus was literally born of a virgin? Do you believe Jesus literally died and was resurrected? :lupe:

Genesis 1:2

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:9-13

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

John 1:1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus birth, death and ressurection are allegories of Genesis 1. Therefore...Jesus was indeed born of a virgin, was crucified and resurrected both in flesh and spirit.

So you're saying his immaculate conception and resurrection were both literal things that actually happened while also being allegorical? :jbhmm:

:francis: strangely enough...it matches other creation stories this way too

an information singularity

but there is a hole in the story :jbhmm:

Genesis 1 describes "generations". Each laid on top of the last. Yet it can arguably be stated that the first page encompasses all of reality/time too.

Bible Gateway passage: Psalm 49 - King James Version

may the rod of david enlighten folks here before they jump off the deep end

These acts go against physical law though. Why would God break the laws of science on these 2 occasions? And no one alive today witnessed such events, nor is there any physical evidence to support the claim or even the theory.

What reason would I have to believe in the impossible when I KNOW it's allegorical? I would have to ignore what I KNOW and replace it with belief in the unbelievable. This is illogical.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
All the Abrahamic religions have really clever conventions (e.g., the devil). That’s why they’re so popular. They all have certain absurdities as well. Christianity has the most, though. The fact that people legitimately believe that a man lived to be 33 years old and never fukked up, never did some shyt he wasn’t supposed to do — even as a kid, toddler, a terrible two year old, etc. not once and was perfect - boggles the fukking mind. Like, really think about what it would mean to be perfect for 33 fukking years, and it becomes a ridiculous notion to even entertain. Oh yeah, because his virgin mom was impregnated by the Holy Spirit like Anakin’s mom was impregnated by midichlorians. Yeah, she had a husband but he ain’t emm much knock her down and consummate the marriage. God was like look here you cuck!. #GMB

Additionally, an all powerful god came back to antiquity and was taking shyts like his mortal creation in the wilderness, no toilet paper, no wet wipes, no duvets, etc. breh was just funky like everybody else in the age on some just because tip :wow:. #thededication

Also, in times of great turmoil he was praying to other parts of his personage for strentffhhh. On some Kanye, “I’m gon look in the mirror if I need some help,” shyt. :jawalrus:

Also, a trumpet is going to blow loud enough to be heard all over the world (supposedly soon. We’ve been waiting a hot ass minute), but won’t liquefy your ear drums and Jesus will return and descend from the heavens. Where is he coming from in the heavens? A trap door? Another dimension? We traverse the heavens all the time. Ain’t shyt up there :mjlol:.

I’m being somewhat facetious, but how people can’t see that this is world myth making no different than Greek mythology, and Greeks thinking Zeus was on mount Olympus hurling lightening bolts and such - I have no damn idea. That also boggles my mind. The main difference is we have an organized book some men decided to put together of these myths. It’s clearly ancient man trying to explain a world he doesn’t fully understand. However, it works for SOME people and can be a good vehicle for SOME. It provides SOME with a measure of peace in this chaotic and often unforgiving world, and in that context I don’t loathe it. It’s clearly utter rubbish, though. :duck:

John 20:28-30

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
