Shaq got the most attention defensively, was dominant in the paint. Even then, that was a 1a 1b thing by 2001/2002
KD did not get the attention defensively. Wasn't even the teams best defender either (draymond). He had a great statistical series in the finals where the cavs sold out to stop Steph (the one who got the most attention).
