Again relative to earth, she was traveling right next to a black hole.

The ship done a sling shot around the black hole. The planet itself is the one furthest from Gargantua. So, even that in comparison to Cooper literally shuttled INSIDE the black hole to singularity. Decades between himself and her were lost. I mean Rommily aged 23 years just for being slightly out of Gargantua's orbit while they were on the water planet.

Well maybe i'll be alone on the Brand thing, but I refuse the evolved beings would just send Coop out of the higher dimension at a rather meaningless time. I also belive Murph had a good grasp of the time dilation between the planets and isn't sending her pops out to a new civilization if Brand ain't there

Yes, her time slowed, but it still moved forward.

But how slowly is the key.

But Coop went into the black hole and was dropped out at a different time. His exposure to the time dialation may have been completely negated. He may have fallen out in the past, relative to where he was

The old Murphy would not have known if Brand is even a live or not, let alone know if she had aged. It's easy for her to assume Amelia haven't aged by seeing her own father who haven't aged. But really, she was just providing him an excuse to go back out and explore, because he didn't have any purpose nor wanted to be on that station anyway.

You gotta remember, the closer you get to the singularity, the SLOWER time moves. So the second after she ejected, she was already YEARS apart from Coop at that point. Add into the equation that he actually went inside. I'm my mind, that means time practically stood still for him, while the rest of the universe moved forward.

That's exactly my point though, somehow he only lands on earth 60-75 years or so later. Their time frame may have seperated as he was falling into the black hole, but as soon as he fell in his time stopped and Brand continued travelling near the black hole. IDK maybe I'm thinking to hard

The old Murphy would not have known if Brand is even a live or not, let alone know if she had aged. It's easy for her to assume Amelia haven't aged by seeing her own father who haven't aged. Send your father on a possibly endless journey . She really holds a grudge.

You keep assuming that she was still near the black hole when the Endurance sling shot OUT of its orbit. She was OUT of the vicinity of Gargantua while Cooper was in it. So, she did basically aged during that time herself.

Last thing, I promise. In the water planet 15min was about 23 Earth years. Even if Brands planet is much further it's not much to assume that there is significant time dialation.

Actually I thought they were going to pan the camera up to something resembling a moving star and have her looking up then end it there ambiguously like most of his movies. That would've been better imo

I always find it funny how people go through lengths on trying to identify what part of the science is "wrong" and using THEORY to justify why it is wrong.
