:mjlol:So your logic is: if you haven’t seen it, they didn’t promote it?

I literally posted a screenshot of them promoting it on their official Twitter page lol. Stop it. You lied and got exposed

lol @ a twitter page promo. WELL WHOOP-DE-DOO. that'll really put butts in the seats.

and i don't recall saying that they didn't promote it at all. I remember saying that they've been promoting it a helluva lot more over the course of the past year & change. you obviously cant differentiate between the two. either that, or youre just bullchittin. regardless, you don't have anything for me on this topic. stop wasting my time.

It’s about name recognition. Jericho has it. It helps the brand because this is a new Fed, not an established one. That’s the difference.

:francis:Difference between Jericho and those old bums is that Jericho at least tries to put over the wrestlers, while the WCW bums used dudes like Jericho like a permanent young lion.

This is why Jericho was brought in and became the initial champ.

:mjlol: My nikka, where do you think companies do most of their promoting these days? On social media. There are multiple articles on popular wrestling sites talking about their streaming service immediately when it was announced. They promoted the shyt out of it. Just as any successful organization would. Don't attribute your lack of business acumen to NJPW

I don't have anything for you? Except facts, you mean? Of which you've cited none? Jericho debuted at NJPW and the American subscribers went up by 60%. FACT. The overall subscribers went up 40%. FACT. They promoted their streaming service on social media 5 years before Jericho wrestled for them. FACT. Jericho has since been brought back to headline other events, and has headlined every AEW event which all did successful PPV numbers/Gates/TV Ratings. FACT.

You can't even cite ONE fact to the contrary. I proved you lost already.

of course I know that social media is a promotional outlet. its not the only outlet, and they certainly didn't "promote the shyt out of it".

now youre trying to attribute AEW's success to Jericho, as if him being champion isn't being frowned upon by many AEW stans and as if his matches aren't getting bad reviews.
not to mention the fact that ALL IN was the first sellout and it did its numbers and all that without Jericho being on the bill. AEW does what it does regardless.
as for new japan, you cant go to any wrestling events without seeing bullet club shirts. theyre the closest thing to the NWO. but nevermind them. lets just pretend that Jericho is the main draw.

youre a gullable dumbass. keep falling for the hype.

Give it a rest. They absolutely promoted the hell out of their product. The fact that you're denying this shows how little you know about business. A Japanese company is not going to promote the only way they can get their product out internationally. I literally posted ads from them well before Jericho was in the picture. Took like a 10 second google search to get them. But they didn't promote their product, huh?

Again, zero facts on your part. While everything I said above are indisputable facts. Jericho's appearance in NJPW led to a 60% increase in American subscribers and a 40% increase overall. This DIRECTLY correlated with Jericho's appearance in NJPW. The Bullet Club was there for years and were only known to hardcore wrestling fans. The fact that you're trying to compare their star power to Jericho is flat out laughable. Jericho is the biggest star in AEW, even your dumbass admitted it without knowing because you literally don't know what star power is. He headlined every major event. Again, FACTS. Does he get credit for all the success? No. Is he by far their biggest star? Yup.

how many times are you gonna keep trying to screw my words around to make it seem like i said that they didnt promote the chit AT ALL?
f*ck outta my thread with that gay chit.

you said Jericho headlined every major event(which is false), but he laid an egg in every single one that he was on. the last one at ALL OUT, was an embarrassment actually. these shows are selling out with or without Jericho. hell, he wasn't even on the bill at all for ALL IN, but I see youre still trying to credit him for that on the slick too.

I never said Jericho is their biggest star, cuz he aint.
is vince carter the biggest star on the hawks??

and if Jericho is such a draw, why couldn't he help out his good friend don callus, at least on a part-time basis??
theyre supposed to be homies, impact was dam near based in Canada for a minute too.
I mean surely if hes supposedly responsible for such a huge jump in sales for a foreign promotion, it should've been no thing for him to hit a homerun in a promotion that casuals are already familiar with, right?

also, you say bullet club is only known to hardcore wrestling fans, but what the hell is Jericho??
I hope you don't think hes rock or stone cold status like the announcers be trying to say.

:mjlol: Because you're suggesting they finally started pushing their product 5 years after they launched it. Nobody is that stupid. I posted multiple advertisements from when it was launched. You haven't cited anything resembling a fact to back up your claim. Which concludes you're flat out lying.

All In wasn't an AEW event, dumb fukk. And their PPV numbers did a fraction of what the AEW shows did. Again, Jericho headlined every major AEW event and they were all successful. FACT. "Laying an egg" match quality wise doesn't mean shyt in terms of drawing power. Hogan laid many eggs throughout his entire career. Doesn't change the fact that he's one of the biggest stars ever, if not the biggest.

That basketball comparison is about as flawed as it gets. You're comparing sports to show business. The latter is about names/star power. The former is purely about skills/ability.

My lord your arguments are awful. Jericho deciding not to go to Impact somehow reflects on his star power? How on Earth is there any correlation there lol.

Dog, if you think the Bullet Club and Jericho are in the same category you are dumber than I thought. Jericho is a recognizable name among casual fans. The Bullet Club are non entities outside of hardcore wrestling fans.

1.) I never suggested that either. stop arguing like a fakkit.
2.) the only dumb f*kk is you, if you cant see that the AEW audience is the exact same audience from ALL IN.
and you wouldn't dare call me a dumb f*ck to my face, so post like you got some sense or im not reading your chit, unless you wanna pull up.
3.) the fact that youre up here trying to compare Jericho to hulk f*ckin Hogan, tells me all I need to know.
4.) sports are more about names/star power than you seem to realize, especially when it comes to money.
5.) I was asking you a question with the impact comment. it wasn't a statement. do you believe that he could rejuvenate business for TNA or say an ROH?? could he take an MLW to the next level?? or is he just playing his position in leagues that are already poppin without him like NJPW & AEW??
6.) the bullet club is bigger than you think. if any of the Elite popped up one raw or smackdown, the crowd would go nuts, similar to when aj styles debuted.

I will say this. Jericho is a popular wrestler that people remember from the NWO and attitude eras in WCW & WWF, and he was a long-time semi-major player in the WWE. but nobody was ever breaking their ass to go see Jericho at any point, and they certainly aren't going to do that now that hes flabby n sick. at some point, common sense has to kick in with you.

Pretty much just described 97% of his posts on The Coli between his two accounts.

if thats the case, then you should be able to shut me down.

instead, you curl up into a corner when getting sonned. then you pop up in another thread when you see me arguing with someone, and you post some stupid chit like this hoping that you can team up and e-jump me.

you follow me around like you got a crush. you better be a broad.
