It’s about name recognition. Jericho has it. It helps the brand because this is a new Fed, not an established one. That’s the difference.

Difference between Jericho and those old bums is that Jericho at least tries to put over the wrestlers, while the WCW bums used dudes like Jericho like a permanent young lion.

This is why Jericho was brought in and became the initial champ.

There are multiple articles on popular wrestling sites talking about their streaming service immediately when it was announced. They promoted the shyt out of it.
