This is why Jericho was brought in and became the initial champ.

Just great stuff. Business side he's done great. Performance side, he's shyt in the ring, the best on the mic in the company, and has insane charisma still.

The difference between him and a guy like Hogan in WCW days, is he's actually dropped the title when the time was right, made a group and has made it a point to put every one of them over in every way he can. And he is doing programs with ALL the up and comers and letting them get their shine too.

Of course this thread is old, but it's clear by now he's doing the right thing and is for the company and boys, not the money and politics.
