if thats the case, then you should be able to shut me down.

instead, you curl up into a corner when getting sonned. then you pop up in another thread when you see me arguing with someone, and you post some stupid chit like this hoping that you can team up and e-jump me.

you follow me around like you got a crush. you better be a broad.

Nah, just not a fan of fukkboy's with absolutely terrible takes

1.) I never suggested that either. stop arguing like a fakkit.
2.) the only dumb f*kk is you, if you cant see that the AEW audience is the exact same audience from ALL IN.
and you wouldn't dare call me a dumb f*ck to my face, so post like you got some sense or im not reading your chit, unless you wanna pull up.
3.) the fact that youre up here trying to compare Jericho to hulk f*ckin Hogan, tells me all I need to know.
4.) sports are more about names/star power than you seem to realize, especially when it comes to money.
5.) I was asking you a question with the impact comment. it wasn't a statement. do you believe that he could rejuvenate business for TNA or say an ROH?? could he take an MLW to the next level?? or is he just playing his position in leagues that are already poppin without him like NJPW & AEW??
6.) the bullet club is bigger than you think. if any of the Elite popped up one raw or smackdown, the crowd would go nuts, similar to when aj styles debuted.

I will say this. Jericho is a popular wrestler that people remember from the NWO and attitude eras in WCW & WWF, and he was a long-time semi-major player in the WWE. but nobody was ever breaking their ass to go see Jericho at any point, and they certainly aren't going to do that now that hes flabby n sick. at some point, common sense has to kick in with you.
1. So you agree they've pushed their product from the start, but only got a 60% increase in US subscribers and a 40% increase overall when Jericho signed? Gotcha. So we agree Jericho gave them a major boost
2. Ok? What does that have to do with the fact that I said Jericho headlined every major AEW event and they all did well? Because you said I was lying/being slick with that. When in fact, those precise words are nothing less than FACT. Oh, and go ahead and ignore the part about All In getting a fraction the AEW PPV Buys
3. I was making a point about how in ring work (which is completely subjective) doesn't have shyt to do with star power. But of course your dumb ass isn't nuanced enough to comprehend that.
4. nikka, a star player of a team is the best player. Not who's most known. That is completely different than a star in show business, which is all about drawing power/popularity. Again, this is something that you should understand, but somehow don't.
5. It doesn't matter what either one of us thinks. Would Jericho give any wrestling company a boost? 100%. Did Jericho give NJPW and AEW a boost? 100%. And those aren't hypothetical. Those are facts.
6. Eh, depends on the crowd/city. In a popular/smarky city for sure. But the Bullet Club isn't an entity among casual fans wrestling fans. Jericho is. This isn't even debatable.

Again, until you bring facts you can talk all the shyt you want and it holds no weight. I gave you numbers

1. as Ive said numerous times, that 60% increase came at a time when the product was red-hot, THEN Jericho came along. and I also said that this was around the time that they REALLY started pushing their network. not just a standard ad here-n-there. BUT OF COURSE, YOURE GONNA DANCE AROUND THIS AGAIN, so this is the last time I address this. reply to this if you want, im gonna skip right past it.

now that that's out the way.
2. THE POINT IS, they were already doing well before Jericho signed on. already selling out shows and doing PPV numbers.
3. most of Jericho's popularity was based on his ring work. and he was never anywhere near the level of a star as hulk Hogan, who can out there and vomit in the ring if he wanted to.

4. that's not true. right off top, Miami just based a whole season around wade, who was at best, the 8th best player on the roster. and theres plenty of idiots on this board who are under the impression that he was the best player and that Miami should've built a better team behind him.
or how about all the people who think Isaiah Thomas was only good for one season because they weren't exposed to the years he was balling in sacramento?? hell, they don't even seem to acknowledge his first all-star season in boston
how about all the top-notch teams that don't get much coverage because they don't have a superstar or don't play in a big market?
or they players that are all-stars but not superstars, simply because they don't get the same exposure? even if theyre better than some of the guys that are tagged as superstars.
also, I can name a handful of elite teams that get limited coverage & air-time while theres teams that routinely miss the playoffs that get crazy coverage.

5. so Jericho, a guy who never affected any numbers at any point, and if anything, he caused numbers to drop......is a guy who suddenly in an old & flabby state is giving boosts to upstart & foreign promotions right?? nevermind the fact that these promotions are already red hot without him.

what boost did Jericho give NJPW & AEW really? don't give me this fantasy BS about him being the reason why NJPW's subscribers jumped, and stop pretending that AEW wasn't already poppin before Jericho signed.

6. we can agree that Jericho is the most recognizable name to the long-time casual or someone who hasn't watched wrestling in a while. but chit, you can say the same thing about dustin Rhodes.
and in terms of current casuals, wouldn't you say that moxley holds more weight than Jericho? altho he had to change his name.

you gave me numbers that don't add up when you include logic & perspective.

bullet club is bigger than you think. if the WWE didn't confiscate shirts & signs, there would be bullet club paraphanelia all thru their crowds.

1. No, it wasn't hot "and then Jericho came". His appearance directly correlated with a 60% increase in American viewers and a 40% overall. You can try to Juelz on this all you want, the facts are out there for the public. They didn't randomly decide to start promoting their product heavily all of a sudden. Jericho came, and then there was more demand for it. Point blank. Every insider in wrestling acknowledges the boost he gave them, but your bum ass doesn't want to accept it.

2. They did a fraction of the PPV numbers of the AEW events. Literally less than a third of the viewers. They did well for themselves for an indy show, but Jericho unequivocally gave them a huge boost when he joined AEW.

3. Nobody's popularity/crossover appeal in wrestling is based off their ring work. It's based on star quality and TV time/where they're positioned on the card. I never claimed he was the star Hogan was. Again, you're stuck on this because you have 2 brain cells and you can't see the names Jericho and Hogan in a paragraph and not see it as a direct comparison.

4. Nobody considered D-Wade a superstar player last year. Nobody. Stop making shyt up. Being the most popular player on the team doesn't matter in sports because it is about winning games, not selling tickets. Now, ownership likely valued him a lot more because he was making them money, but absolutely did not translate into him being considered the star player. Sure, a team like the Lakers gets multiple national TV games a year. You know how many of their players were considered stars before Bron got there? Absolutely NONE. Not since Kobe pre-Achilles injury. You don't seem to understand the difference what is considered the star of the team (i.e, best player), or the biggest box office star.

5. Never affected any numbers based on what? Where are your facts to back this up. All you're doing trying to make excuses for why the numbers for NJPW and AEW going up just so happened to coincide with Jericho's appearance, but you're yet to post one statistic to the contrary yet. Until you do, all this "he doesn't draw/affect numbers" shyt is you talking out of your ass.

6. No. Moxley does not "hold more weight" than Jericho. Jericho is objectively the bigger name. Dustin is one of the bigger names, but isn't nearly as big as Jericho who was a world champion/main event player during the peak of wrestling popularity. There's a reason he's on top of the card.

you gave me numbers that don't add up when you include logic & perspective.

:mjlol: I gave you numbers that directly correlated with Jericho's appearance in NJPW. And numbers of PPV buys/ratings with him on top of the bill. They absolutely add up, you're just a hater in denial. Damn, Jericho must have some serious stroke in the business for all these organizations to give him top billing/main event slots when he's apparently not a draw, huh?

He’s just going to keep repeating himself. What’s the point of going back and forth? If hard evidence doesn’t convince someone, they’re a lost cause.

in the wrestling world, AEW's biggest stars are omega, bucks, cody, moxley & the lucha brothers.

and that's basically their entire fanbase. wrestling fans.

Jericho isn't drawing sticks for them. they could easily just put fat rob van dam in his spot, put the belt on him, and have yall referring to him as their biggest star.

you could have never watched the promos, matches and build for this new Jericho character At all.
Chris jericho's matches in njpw leading up to this showed he was the best worker. As he literally lapped okada, omega and naito back to back to back.
his psychology in the naito match alone. To solve the entire Larry z wanna be naito work dynamic was just simplistic direct brawl brutal brilliance just for starters.

as a matter of fact,..jericho showed he was tougher than all of njpw in that run rather easily.

even the painmaker troll gimmick on okada. To let okada go over via promo.
with what tha hell is a painmaker?!!

totally with jericho's look made you look at Jericho as the worthless heel. Till the match started and once again. Jericho created an entire new character off the alpha character from the naito character to painmaker.
plus took away all the cool he earned to look like the complete heel versus okada. When typically okada is the actual f'n heel. Except in this,....situation.
Jericho got over this okada transitioning from that cot damn balloon and weird dye job. Back into the okada from the undefeated run from one ridiculous style painted face weird promo. That typically everyone usually botches.
plus after wwe neutered his striking repertoire. I really questioned if Jericho could keep face convincability on okada. Yet Jericho took the less traveled look goofie role and really used that psychology for the match. Play the brawl ending to save heat/face. Which was just a standard rehash of funk attacks flair. Yet, this simple dynamic to what most would have made over the top. Is why Jericho earned this place at the top of the aew drawing card and title.

shyt he sold thwagger and i hate thwagger.

yet Jericho always gets over useless bigs like standard clockwork as well.
so, I think you either really have not watched this. Or are going on not watching and your off brand perception. Which we know.
is not as well versed in being a smart like you would think. Or try to fool the public into thinking.

if you wanna prove me wrong.
rant the matches. That will prove everything there.

yet since you and others do not write and never wrote rants.

I know y'all really do not know.

or it would be in print to have read it consistently already.

The vets at one point were largely facing each other more than working with the newer generation , nobody said they shouldn't be in main event programs at all, only thing is WWE went on to be gulity of the same thing in bringing in a lot of old guys facing each other instead of giving someone the rub, the.hypocritical thing is doing that after years of painting the narrative that it's a Wcw thing , not so much what Jericho is doing

im done talking in circles with you, numb nuts.
im just gonna respond to the new ish.

of course the AEW stuff is going to do more numbers than ALL IN, dummy. LOL. with AEW you now have billionaires on deck and the promotion and platforms are bigger. do you not see the difference in all of that, and the producton value, etc?? the fact that youre numb to this stuff, renders this whole debate pointless.

the names dustin Rhodes & goldust ring more bells than chris Jericho if we're being real, but yea, he was never really a main eventer cool.
Jericho was a midcarder during the last period tho, and the last boom period was not the peak of wrestling popularity bro.

moxley was a recent champion in the WWE. Jericho is basically an old school wrestler from a previous era. the kids don't know Jericho like that. those kids would be the crowd that theyre going after next. the adult fanbase that they already have, is supporting AEW with or without Jericho. hes just the cherry on top.
