This is pretty clearly the truth and it's weird how much supposedely "smart" marks fight this. Neither guy is much of a draw on their own, but HHH vs Rock/Austin/Goldberg did better than Jericho did.

He shouldnt have main evented, but Goldberg didn't even have a match at Fall Brawl 98. A PPV squash would've been fine.

jericho is a prime example of an underdog high-midcard fan favorite becoming ridiculously overrated.
That's only cause Jericho was usually face and he was literally right behind those guys was. Jericho has the way better career post Rock and Austin.

jericho had a way better career than HHH post-03?? i dont see how.
Jericho really only had 2 main event runs in WWE: End of 2001 to March of 2002. It was an utter failure on every level. Late Summer 2008-Early Winter 2008. It had the HBK feud but his actual title run was nothing. He spent the vast majority of his WWE career as an upper mid card guy they could rotate into a world title feud every 6 months and then send him back to the mid card to do nothing for months. He was basically the heel version of RVD and to say he was anywhere close to Austin, Rock, or even HHH in terms of career and positioning is absurd.

Wrestling is fake, the amount of money you've supposedly drawn is irrelevant past the downfall of WCW, and position on the card is absolutely meaningless, Jericho is one of the top 15 all time great performers and to compare him to RVD means you either haven't seen the majority of his catalog or you're just bitter for some reason
I'm comparing how they were utilized: Popular upper card guys who could be rotated into a main event feud or match every so often when needed, but never top guys, even when they were champion.
