I think they are to be honest, notice that in iron man 3 the woman TS ditched was Rebecca Hall, she was in a movie with SJH Vicky, Christina Barcelona and she never blew up while SJH is doing big things, also Marvel messed up by green lighting Thor 2 before locking him into a contract where he got some points from the movie.
