Breh my problem was never about it being satire.:dahell: my problem, and the problem alot of chicago people have is that it does not look or feel like chicago at all, yet it takes place in chicago. It looks like complete shyt
If that's the case concentrate on the satire not the aesthetics.

kendrick spitting real shyt... ya don't want to hear that. instead, yall champion retarded rappers, that vow to raise the crime rate... :merchant:
yall cry about the movie not depicting violence , claiming it don't feel like chicago ,meaning, "wheres the gritty glorified violence at?":usure:

ya run around, call ya selves savages... :comeon:
take pride, that your city nickname, is from the fact that, it has more bodies than an actual war zone :snoop:

with all of that, u pretend to act offended that i call u a savage :sas2:

Spike said it in the interview and I'll say it again.

If you think that muthafukking SPIKE LEE is going to just make light of the issues plaguing Chicago then you are either an idiot or you've NEVER seen a Spike Lee Joint. This is the man who made Do The Right Thing, School Daze, and Malcolm X. Let that man COOK and reserve judgement until you've seen the film

Spike Lee is not beyond reproach. Dude has made wack shyt as well. If the movie atleast LOOKED authentic to Chicago I would feel u a bit more. But come on bro. This shyt looks like some other shyt based on another city.

it is crazy that people are mad about what spike did but these same people aint mad about how "chiraq" makes itself look or how the media in general makes it look...400 murders in chicago is progress...there was a time when chicago had 600-800+ murders a year...

I never said he was beyond reproach. I said that he deserves the benefit of us WATCHING the movie before we judge. This isn't Tyler Perry, who makes a wack ass movie almost every time he gets behind (or in front of) a lens. This is Spike Lee, a PIONEER of independent film making and arguably the greatest African American director of all time.

I feel u. First impressions ain't lookin too good tho bro. U even got vets like Twista shyttin on it. I don't think I seen one person from Chicago no matter what age group or walk of life say anything good about it yet. Lol.
