the Afghanistan argument makes no sense to me. The goal wasn’t to completely eradicate Islam.
And the US didn't accomplish its goal in 20 years so it was a failure, the couldn't beat the Taliban, they didn't get their way, after 20 years
it's a defeat, war is about completing the mission accomplishing the goal, and they failed to do that

To establish to install the puppet Afghan government, and bring so called democracy to Afghanistan, it was a failure, The Taliban are in complete control of the country, the whole point of them staying there was to get rid of the taliban and give Afghanistan a new government

How are they handling people leaving China and taking their money with them and not wanting to come back? What is stopping another bird flu or swine flu or covid from coming out of their wet markets? How are they addressing the insane housing prices? Military power is great when you have a strong, loyal, healthy and renewable fighting force. Its not when you cant get much volunteers to join, and the people you draft aren't motivated to fight.
