lol why do people on this site like to strawman? she is part of an administration that definitely helped usher in deepseek so its ironic no matter how you want to explain it away.

I suspect that it will ironically be used to replace IRS agents. Their biggest operating expense is the call centers.

So America gets to be Alrman's guinea pig rhis tax season . Long wait times to be expected.:francis:

Anything that requires a lot of reading and summarization is a good choice for LLMs.
Drafting stuff with said summaries is probably a good idea...

But overseeing/double checking as a human...would make me want to write it from scratch.

VPs are useless they don't have control over policy. Why is it with Kamala being VP all of a sudden she has the same power as the President.

To follow up on my own post, as LLMs start to infiltrate more professional writing, there's gonna be some Black Swan Scenarios where the LLM is gonna be 99% right, but 1% wrong - and someone's gonna profit

1) By finding it, and having a major exploit.

2) By scaring businesses so much that they pay humans to look for it...

They need to point LLM’s to the U.S tax code.

It’ll probably find so many inconsistencies and not know what to do., basically exposing how bad it is.

Additionally, this may mean lawyers, accountants, etc. are going to be screwed sooner than later by A.I.

Naw the "loop holes" and inconsistencies of the tax code ARE THE POINT.

The IRS isn't truly meant to be efficient about collecting taxes.

A lot of the time, big businesses incorporate in other places, do business in America, but don't pay any corporate tax

They're not paying taxes because they're greedy, not because they can't hire a 1,000 lawyers and accountants to do the paperwork.

Yeah they have no intention of fixing it.

In fact, more cases are open on average Americans than rich people.

It’s actually very known that the IRS don’t like going after rich people because rich people buy expensive lawyers and drain the IRS for money each day their trial goes. At the end of the day, the IRS doesn’t want smoke with rich people and find average/poor citizens easier to prey on.

That’s the real answer.
