And black cops...I can't even imagine what they go through. As evident from this situation the corruption is so deeply entrenched and has been for generations that it almost seems futile thinking that more black cops will change anything.

Seeing stuff like this witnessing your fellow officers arrest, beat, and kill people that look like you must take a toll on the mind. There's only three ways it goes for them....they quit the force after seeing so much corruption, stay silent and so their jobs, or just go insane and end up like Chris Dorner (RIP).

And the corruption runs deep in Chicago, like Boston and NYC, there are generations of racist cops who've NEVER been held accountable for their bullshyt. There's no justification for any of this. They all need to go to jail, the prosecutor, internal affairs, everyone involved in the cover up...

He was shot because he was on pcp and lacked discretion and judgement, which led to him making a quick movement (the spin) and being seems as a threatening jesture.

Lack of responsibility is saying his own actions didn't lead to him being in this situation.

Why are you taking so much of this at face value when theyve lied in the past and retracted statements? Especially in a situation where 5 million was paid out to cover it up? What makes them infallible? Especially when the toxicology report already said otherwise?

I asked someone to link me where the report claimed he was clean. Per the facts we have at hand, dun had PCP in his blood, either link hard evidence or people are just regurtiating hearsay.

Okay, so it's either wait for cops to change their ways () or teach our young kids to shape up their lives and not be put in a scenario where they're going to get killed.

Myself personally, I don't disagree with you and don't think your post deserves a neg. What you posted is common sense, and the same reasoning can be said about some of the other situations that have been in the news within the past year or two. Have to admit too, considering how many of us who haven't been involved in reckless or criminal behavior and still had a bad experience with police, seeing these imperfect victims (make no mistake they're still victims) makes me feel a little hollow. I've never used PCP, or wielded a knife in the presence of a police officer, yet I've still been hemmed up, pulled over, profiled, asked ridiculous questions, etc.. So the protesting does ring slightly hollow to me with cases like this because the actions of the victims set them in a direct collision course with the police that could have ultimately been avoided. To admit as much doesn't make one a c00n, or a New Black, or whatever pejorative is out there for anyone expressing their thoughts after examining the entire situation before speaking.

Regardless of all that and to be more specific, regardless of the actions of the deceased, it still doesn't negate the unprofessional and inhumane actions of the police. That kid was walking away, and that cop pulled up and unloaded as if he was also on PCP himself. I personally believe most cops are just normal nine to fivers trying to get through a day. However, too many of them lack the mental constitution to be out on the streets. That's not even taking into consideration the disgruntled and criminal cops that have no business being out there.
