I'm not the person you were responding to. I'm just bringing forward facts instead of "What ifs", "Why don't they" and all the other bullshyt that I've read since last night. To get personal, if I regret one thing it's that I haven't done enough to help kids in Englewood where I grew up. But one thing I'm not gonna do is get on Facebook and criticize other blacks for not protesting when I know goddamn well that 200 men were in the freezing rain and snow on Saturday marching in the middle of a gang war on 79th street. I can get on my soapbox and say that we need to open up more day cares, after school programs and study groups in Englewood but I can't do it alone. I've said to people offline that if a group of black men put up 10-20k each and bought abandoned property we could start somewhere.

Why is it that back in the day there used to be rules on how to avoid escalation with cops and people followed those to stay alive. Now you have people doing things that lead to dangerous situations and want to play the victim.

The problem with the black community is that we identify too much with the ain't shyt populace. We want white people to value our lives more than we do our own. You literally have nikkas in coli threatening harm to other black men because of online arguments. And yet these same dudes think cops owe them something

He was shot because he was on pcp and lacked discretion and judgement, which led to him making a quick movement (the spin) and being seems as a threatening jesture.

Lack of responsibility is saying his own actions didn't lead to him being in this situation.
