Are there regular shootings where you live?
Why do you think citizens in chicago are excited about this measure? Beacuse they want to kill innocent people or because they want to feel protected without having to break the law to protect themselves.
i dont know how many shootings occur where i live...i dont know why people in chicago are excited...you are excited and you dont even live there so i guess their excitement probably comes from wherever your excitement comes from...my guess would be the source of their excitement is the danger of possessing a gun...people with guns dont just feel protected they also feel empowered and maybe a lil bit invincible...

Man back to the topic at hand. I love having guns and I love the thought of being able to conceal carry. You know why? U try walking in ur crib with ur kid and someone is in ur spot taking ur shyt. I didn't have a gun then. And my kid was scare as hell. I wish I did cuz I would have tried to shoot them dead. Luckily no one got hurt, but got dammit, I should be able o defend my own crib. And shyt hell yeah ill take an Aaron Hernandez for one of my seeds real talk.

Change is inevitable...
I hope it succeeds for the sake of the young brothers in the Chi but at the same time...major cities like Chicago NEED strong gun laws and I don't think this is the solution.

I live on the Southside. in the last 2 years there have been 3 murders in my area 2 of the victims were black, one was Mexican. All three were involved in gangs or the drug game. The most recent one was two weeks ago just across the street three houses down from my crib. My neighbor next door's son was shot in the leg as well.
My white friends on Facebook are loving the possibility of conceal carry, but the funny thing is they live in the suburbs.

In other words, people who think owning a gun makes you a real man and cheerlead mindless violence in the media are part of the problem. You claim to be a Christian but can't even get the most basic of Christian ideas right, and laugh at people for actually following your supposed God's teachings properly. Sad.
