Ain’t no white people going into these neighborhoods. Yes, white supremacy is the reason behind all of this, but this is some dumb nikka shyt. Chicago was always violent, but when you look at this recent activity, there are so many factors. I tend to think when they locked up all of the OGs, that took away from a lot of the stability and order that the gangs had. Then you have a situation where you had people living in the projects for years, and once they tore them down, they were displaced throughout various black neighborhoods in the city. This just added to the chaos even more by creating more beefs. Obviously there are way more factors, but this random violence can be attributed to those things.

Also with social media and dudes actually beefing over that, I wouldn’t put it past some of these cops initiating beefs over social media by pretending to be rivals.

Same way we don't know exactly why they are furthering the agenda to turn black men gay in Atlanta more than other cities.

This is damn near every Chi-town hood nikka’s or bytch’s childhood, teen years, and young adulthood. It slows down once you’re in a position to not only move out the hood to a better area, but once YOU decide that you’re done hanging out in the hood.

I agree with for the most part. There is no culture more destructive and violent than "white culture". Blacks killing blacks in Chicago is peanuts compared to the treachery that the white man has bestowed upon the world. Btw what area on the south side were you at?
The only bombed out neighborhoods I can think of are Englewood, parts of Roseland and Washington park. Most other areas have a decent amount of foot traffic.

I explored different areas b/t 71st all the way to the 100s. The areas that stood out were avalon park, and I think Calumet heights.
Some areas seemed mad neglected, from the street signs to the boarded up random buildings, especially considering like you said, there was a lot of foot traffic.It seemed to be concentrated to a few blocks at a time also.
Definitely a different vibe when compared to Logan square where a lot of the buildings are mad old (historical?) but the neighborhood/streets/public areas seem more maintained. Seems like a city and public works issue. The northside is like a whole different city too, like a far flung suburb in the middle of nowhere.

Ive been shot at, and every place I've been at for a significant amount of time....there has been a body dropped at some point very near before or after I had been there. Near my home. Outside the skatepark. Near the bridge by the skatepark.

My old neighborhood a few times. Dads house. Its madness. Police do scummy as shyt, but there clearly has come a point where stuff is so far gone, they don't HAVE to stir anything up. Economics failing these folks is enough. Problem is, there are enough people willing to clap gats

to cope with the shyt they deal with that its a wonder more brothas don't die over bullshyt on the daily. Its fukked up that winter is the best crime-deterrent.
