i've got quite a few people on my facebook friends list that live in chicago

they don't even mention these shootings. they're just carrying on going to work, promoting what they're doing like everything is cool

it's really like they could care less

If you don’t watch the news, like I do, you can sometimes be oblivious to it, since it’s only happening in certain neighborhoods. There are exceptions when something will happen in more populated areas, then it gets on everybody’s radar. But the outrage is moreso that these “criminals” are having the audacity to come out of their neighborhoods to commit crime. I get the sentiment that a lot of people (non- black/Hispanic south and west sliders) are indifferent about the crime for the simple fact that it’s stays contained for the most part.

Kind of like out of sight, out of mind.

I got mad fam in the chi and from what they tell me I think its a mix of both ...chi is legit crazy but 'outside forces' are taking advantage of that and making it even crazier

How did he find himself in Roseland, one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city? Some of these folks be looking to get into some shyt. Lead def will.....leads to MDD, Panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. In retrospect I think about the dudes that were "shell" back in grade school, would be ready to fight in an instant over the dumbest shyt. Never made sense how they could build up anger so quick until later in life when I learned about this. Also PTSD is severely under-diagnosed in the black population. Kids witnessing violence/drugs at an early age are so high risk that it makes no sense on top of having lead in their water.
