As someone who comes from an afflicted area the Black on Black crime issue is super complicated and is a systematic issue as much as it is a community issue.

Has anyone ever broken down the proximity crimes that happen into something like criminal on criminal crime.

I know a good percentage of the violence in my city seems to come from people who are involved in the drug/gang/robbery lifestyle. With those people choosing they lifestyle and accepting the consequences that come with it isn’t violence a part of that lifestyle?

can we really complain about criminal on criminal crime when it always ends with murder or someone Locked up usually.

As crazy as it sounds fixing police brutality is probably an easier task than fixing black on black crime
At least in the short term. And like someone said it's relatively easy to avoid the fukk shyt in most "war zone" communities, ain't no avoiding police
There needs to be a relationship of trust before the black on black crime can be addressed with law enforcement anyway so might as well focus on the police issue first

Police brutality is a lot easier to tackle, because police departments are state/government backed entities. Crime isn't sponsored. If a crip kills and elderly person, I can't go take that shyt up with the governor of the crips.

Instead of trying to shame black people for violence in the hood, he should talk about the systemic issues that cause it ; red lining of education, loss of manufacturing jobs, ignored unemployment. Etc

Nobody ever gives a real solution to Chicago. What are we supposed to do? Talk about it? How does that solve the problem? We’re protesting the government. Civilian on civilian murder is a completely different topic.

my thought about it is this: PUT working, HD cameras everywhere possible in high crime hoods..

those police cameras that they got up right now obviously arent working..but the cameras they use to give people tickets for running a red fukking light works great

people wouldnt have to worry about talking to the police either
