But if there is one thing that is true, its the fact that people GLORIFY ignorance and violence in the music

Cats are conditioned to blast music killing hundreds of black folk and not getting upset about it. Its bigger than a poverty issue, it's the glorification of it is a major problem outside of black poverty itself IMO. "Its just entertainment" excuse only pacifies us against real justice of the killers of black people. Law enforcement CACs and c00n thugs alike.

And no genre of music has EVER lost as many of its stars to homicide.

Unlike people that act like it has to be an “either, or”, I’m fully in support of tackling both issues, at the same time, with the same energy.

They're two separate issues that require two different types of dialog and ultimately two completely different solutions and need to be dealt with as such. Far to often one is used to derail convos about the other and ultimately nothing gets done.

There should be a rule that both are given their own seperate space to be discussed independently of the other and anyone bringing up the other issue in the space should be ousted from the discussion.
