It's nice and warm in these two cities compared up north right now It's a balmy 39 degrees in Releigh and 45 in Charlotte, and gonna be in the 70s next week

Yeah I originally wanted to go to Greensboro or Charlotte but the job offer was in Durham. I looked at houses in Durham but found way more options in Wake County. Me and the wife were overwhelmed by how many good choices we had. Pretty much got a Mini Mansion for the same price we were paying for a condo in D.C.

Between that, the traffic and how friendly the people are down here I’m glad we moved. I can see myself retiring down here.

So far it’s been pretty easy. She isn’t working right now and all of her friends are out of state so she kinda gets cabin fever and wants to go out and kick it when I’m tired after a day of work.
