Defund the police was done spontaneously. BLM is an actual corporation so everything is more calculated from the font they use to the messaging, etc. They actually have people in six figure roles in charge of shyt like messaging, media outreach, etc.




Like I said, I personally have a problem with it because it's too soft. But I recognize the genius in it because it's a balance. 1. Mandatory quarterly psych evaluations
2. All cops must have be an AA degree
3. If a cop gets 4 credible complaints, automatically dismissal and will be flagged so no other departments will rehire
4. You have to live in the hood that you will be patrolling
5. Monthly review of social media yo weed out white supremacist/nazis(lot of these folk have infiltrated forces for almost 20 yrs)

And police get too much money, defund just means you invest in other parts of your city like infrastructure, job programs,better schools etc.
I'm in LA and LAPD has a billion dollar budget, that is insane
