All I'm going to say that it starts even before the hiring process. The screening and hiring process for the police in itself is a joke. Look at the types of people who apply to these jobs and you'll notice something. Anybody who is determined enough, lies well and etc can become a cop. Plus you have to add in the fact that some folks do it for the paycheck, benefits and etc. Some basically are generations deep. shyt is a lot deeper than just that. For the record, most entry level officer positions only require a high school diploma. No 4 year degrees required unless someone wants rank.

A lot of these insecure folks who want to feel in power over other people, the benefits, the early retirement, pensions, got bullied in school so it's their get back, want to basically get their Joe Biden on being super duper trooper, on that bro culture, joe Rogan, roid boy or girl, trump supporter, gun ho, Bb misc forum and etc types. These guys arent fit to be police to begin with. They dont screen these cops right or they let the wrong people on there so it's not a surprise.

Then theres a culture on top of that. The way they train these cops. They train them like they are in the military. They are being taught that the civilians they are to protect are their enemies. They are also told that their fellows are their brothers and sisters no matter what they've done so they arent going to report who's doing what and etc. They have an us against them mentality with the public. They literally kill or run out the whistleblowers that air out the crooked cops.

Then we have police departments that dont even require cops to have nothing other than a high school diploma so they dont know shyt and worst off, believe it or not, theres officers walking around out here that dont even know the laws that they are supposed to be enforcing. Dead serious. They dont even know. The police departments dont require them to know it either. They just do whatever and the public doesn't know this. So all that reforms and etc is pointless.

Should but most police agencies like the local police departments dont. Most of them dont even require officers to know the laws, read supreme court, state court decisions and etc that may affect how they do their jobs and etc. Then you have the politicans with agendas and a whole lot of bullshyt.

What's scarier is that they have a preference for people who served in the military. That in itself is a problem. Theres so much issues with the police in itself.
