Austin has green space, it has a younger vibe. A very active city where people run, hike, do bjj etc. You have...I mean HAD a vibrant music scene. Unfortunately a lot of that is dwindling but go to East Austin and you'll see eclectic people, hipsters, dive bars, etc there.Interesting, you're the first black person I've heard say Austin has more soul than Dallas. Can you elaborate?
Maybe this is my own experience of Dallas but the city is pretty grey, a concrete jungle. It's pretty economically (and racially) segregated and you have 30k millionaires there trying to signal high status. It just appears vapid and inauthentic. I hate that there's no trees and the city isn't "pretty" It just seems like a place people go to work and drive to suburbs like Frisco or something
