He was 5’5” which is why I was wondering why him specifically when 5’3” Mugsy Bogues played.
Draymond could only have the impact he did in this small ball era where most "power forwards" in today NBA are just small forwards downsized like what D'Antoni had Marion at 4 in Phoenix.
Draymond and Warriors defenses always get cooked when he go up against Giannis Bucks, Jokic Nuggets, AD Pelicans/Lakers or Embiid Sixers. They beat Nuggets when KCP, MPJ and Murray was out but they still couldn't guard em well at all and Jokic did anythin he wanted to him. Same when AD was in NOLA he averaged 30/15 or some shyt in 2 playoff series against em and 1 was as a sophomore 20yo. Draymond wouldn't have the same defensive impact in 90s golden era of centers or 00s golden era of power forwards shiieeeeeet they might have Draymond playin 3 small forward back in those eras wit how badly he get abused but he can slide and play sneak small ball center in this era since there only a handful of centers that really a problem today. That shyt wouldnt fly at all back then he'd get abused.
