I mean, Capela is a one trick pony. Not much to stop there.Made Capela useless and irrelevant everytime Houston played GSW.

Yea but I’m not saying he’s more athletic than the average NBA freak athlete (like Zion for example). But what makes him an anomaly and separates him from others is his wingspan which is crazy long for a 6’4 player
Combine that with his athleticism and he can play much bigger than his height.
But Barkley was never “jumping out the gym”. I don’t think I’ve ever seen his head at the rim.
And he wasn’t faster than John Wall, Rose, Westbrook etc….
Wasn’t faster than Wall, Rose, Westbrook etc?? Who is?? It’s PLENTY of athletic players who aren’t faster than them. Seems like you’re being a contrarian just for the hell of it. I didn’t know one had to run like an elite point guard to be deemed athletic.Yea but I’m not saying he’s more athletic than the average NBA freak athlete (like Zion for example). And yet we rode that one trick to 1st in The West. Nobody could stop the harden and Capela pick n roll except DraymondI mean, Capela is a one trick pony. Not much to stop there.
I mean, if that was your goal, cool It couldn't have been too hard to stop since they only made one Conference Finals appearance. Don't even give me his first yr in Houston. He wasn't even a factor in '14-'15And yet we rode that one trick to 1st in The West. Nobody could stop the harden and Capela pick n roll except Draymond
I think they're only talking about the ones that aren't obvious. LeBron literally being good to elite at everything and balling for 20 years skraight would be the easy answer otherwise.Chuck is an anomaly indeed and criminally underrated, but I find it kind of strange to see him more as an anomaly than Lebron James. How many players that tall and strong have we seen be so quick and agile and be able to do everything on a court at an elite level for 20 years. He's the biggest anomaly I've seen since I started following the league 30 years ago. There's nothing "normal" about his career.
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the thread?
According to the posters in this thread Barkley is the same height as the guards listed so why not?.
And using PGs speed vs Barkley’s?

Yes Barkley was THAT athletic. Plenty of video out there to back it up. There no debate.
Kirby Puckett is an excellent mention. Short, stout, yet fast with great leaping ability.
Because Barkley is 260 pounds.According to the posters in this thread Barkley is the same height as the guards listed so why not?
The claim was that Barkley was an all time generational type athlete (Lebron, Jordan, Vince Carter, or in todays nba someone like Jaylen Green) NOT one of the best athletes in the nba
I’d say Barkley had a unique build to go with that athleticism which makes him an anomaly and able to do what he did and play many positions
Because Barkley is 260 pounds.
You REALLY needed me to tell you that?
Youre either trolling or just plain dumbso if he l
Barkley was also 250+ lbs . Now,I need you to find me ONE (just one) athlete in basketball history with the speed of Westbrook, Wall, or Rose that was 250+According to the posters in this thread Barkley is the same height as the guards listed so why not?
Also gotta give a mention to Nate Robinson, specifically the playoff run he had with the Bulls. Dude was scoring like nobody could stop him in that playoff run and he's only 5'8"Muggsy Bogues in my mind. To be below average height for a woman yet play for as long as he did in a league of giant men is incredible
