It's a beautiful thing when an organization does their part to help a player and simultaneously bets on that player handling their business to improve and develop as well. Especially a non-1st round black QB in a league where it feels like their margin for error is slimmer than slim :mjcry::wow: Lurie and Howie really saw the vision :wow:

Always felt like their was a real chance because Dak came a long way as a passer from his Mississippi St tape, and Jalen was further along than that at Oklahoma. Anticipation and accuracy was always gonna be the key without the Mahomes/Allen cannon and he really put in the time to get it done :wow:

Agree. His character goes a long way people want to see him succeed.

Thats why I want Jalen to succeed in this league and division. I am a OU fan so Jalen is my dude too btw. Non bias take since I am a cowboys, but I want Jalen and Dak to both succeed because they are both black and rep the same division.

@B1G_controversy have you finally admitted that you was wrong about Hurts?

I made a comment in the thread in early 2021, I said the only way Hurts would be successful is with a bomb squad...if anything I think my statement was prophetic

He wouldn't win with Greg Ward as his WR1, Boston Scott as his RB1, and 2 backup OL starting

we've gotta bomb squad on O

Key to 3-0 is the defense against Wentz. Make Wentz make mistakes, have him hold the ball long and play hero ball.

We know about him, in a tight game if they stay disciplined on coverage and give him the underneath stuff, he will eventually give it up trying to do too much.

If we get a big lead early on offense, dial up that pressure on him and force him to make mistakes throwing it.

We can make it a long day for him.

Definitely an exciting team to watch.

Are most of you behind Hurts, or still questioning him quite a bit like last year?
I’m rooting for Hurts. If he can show consistency then I’m all in. It’s clear his work ethic and leadership are unmatched, so nothing to worry about on that end. If he doesn’t work out we can move on as well. He is young though and it does kinda make me feel lately the NFL doesn’t give QBs enough time to develop.

It's good to see him actually have some weapons this year.
