Big Play Slay was the MVP yest and deserved the game ball...thats the best game I've seen from an Eagles corner in a long time

I'm actually shocked Minny didn't blitz us. Hurts capitalized in their lapse of judgment. Best Hurts has looked in his career. He threw to his weakside, he spread the ball around, he threw with anticipation, and he was accurate. Will need to see how he looks passing against a blitz and teams that don't give our receivers free releases. The bad is he was sacked 3x and the pick in traffic.

Run defense was great, pass def was phenomenal. Still want to see more disruption from the outside pass rushers.

Didn't like the blocked FG, and Covey does not look explosive at PR. Also hate that we aren't explosive at KR.

Miles Sanders should get 15-20 totes per wk. Goedert should get 6-8 targets per wk. Devonta should get 6-8 targets per wk.

A bit disheartening we only scored 24 considering we played so well. Great win nonetheless.

Hurts looking like one of the best QBs in the league right now, made some tough throws and even showed an arm with the deep ball. Liked how he used the scramble to open up passing lanes instead of just running after the first read. He did have like 2 or 3 scrambles that looked like panic but he quickly just fell on the ground instead of risking anything

Slay could have had like 4 INTs, shyt was crazy how Cousins kept forcing the ball to Jefferson when Slay pretty much had that shyt locked

I liked the more balanced WR play

Defensive blitzes were welcomed, gotta give the coordinator credit. It's like the Eagles read messageboards then quickly make changes lol

Didn't notice Davis that much this game, was never in the game when I thought to check

If anyone still doubts how necessary Hurts's mobility was against Detroit, just watch this Lions-Commanders game. Lions defense has had Wentz in hell all game so far with these blitzes.

Absolutely since our front can't get a solid pass rush it seems. I don't know what's wrong with our dline. It is baffling as hell

Everyone talks what he can’t do and his arm strength but he just makes plays

He’s one of these gritty QBs that just wins

A.J. Brown was a beautiful acquistion..

They all respected him a teammate and knew he just had to gain that experience

I know it's two games in but the whole Gang and thread Poppin, ain't seen us united like this since midway through the SB season

Plus he takes constructive criticism unlike the other guy. He told coaches he will improve. Work with Tom Brady and QB gurus this offseason and you already see the improvement.

Yooo man if Jalen can continue where progressing from where he's at he's gonna enter the rare unstoppable territory.
Week 1 Detroit was blitzing and he was killing them with the legs while mainly targeting one guy. Ok cool.
Last night they were sitting back and he was playing well in the pocket, making great throws and spreading the ball out and throwing over the middle well. While also using his legs when needed.
So gameplan wise as a DC you now can't sit back cause he's shown that he can make the throws and he's too athletic to just try to have your dline and lbs chase and contain him.
