Defense looked good but I'm wondering where Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean were at?

I think Dean is a little more situational since its not clear how sturdy he can be against the run which is looking like our big issue right now

Id love to see him on passing downs when he can threaten blitz or drop into coverage

No idea where Davis at he looked great game 1 and is a first round pick

Absolutely since our front can't get a solid pass rush it seems. I don't know what's wrong with our dline. It is baffling as hell
Some of it is that they are playing Even and Odd fronts now so guys are moving around more then before. Cox for example is moving from the 2tech all the way to the 4tech depending on what's called. On odd fronts he's playing the end sometimes while Jordan Davis comes in to play Nose.

The biggest change I think is they are responsible for more run gaps now. Under Schwartz they had 1 gap and were allowed to rush with the LBs filling in. That worked but we got exposed in underneath coverage alot. Under Gannon the LBs are more coverage focused.

On a few plays late in the game they had Fletch lined up at the 3tech and BG outside of him like we remember and they flashed that old passrush potential. Didn't get the fumble recovery but they did get a strip.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on how good the Philadelphia Eagles looked last night: “(Jalen) Hurts has really evolved. I was particularly impressed with his passing. I watched every snap. … They’re gonna be all we can handle.”

:russ:

Jalen got Jerry out here watching all his snaps and we ain't even playing the Cowboys for another 3 weeks.

Jerry Jones was watching. The Dallas Cowboys team owner said he caught “every snap” of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts’ dominant Monday night performance, and was well aware of an NFC East reality by night’s end. “We’re playing a Philadelphia team with a quarterback threat,” Jones said Tuesday morning on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan. “It doesn’t surprise me or startle me … [but] they’re going to be all we can handle.
Edit: @Leasy beat me to the punch
