Starts off unified. Eventually met with cac "all lives matter" resistance. Then a black LGBT insurgence appears that gives rise to "oppression olympics" within the black community. And finally capped off with black male bashing by black feminists, resulting back at square one.

i never said most black men beat their spouses. i know most dont. The problem is, someone (the White Man) told black people of the LGBT community that they weren't accepted by heterosexual men of the black community.

If a cop puts his knee on the neck of a gay man tomorrow and kills him, black people are going to mourn him and fight for justice.

Black people play a big part in the destruction of the black community and until that is accepted theres no moving forward.
i accept that white people mainly white males have played a big part in the black communities downfall but its definitely not the only part and in 2020 there should be very little excuses.
i for one am tired of excuses tbh because black people should be doing better than what they are doing.
And you do have a point about the correlation between domestic violence and poverty but again a lot of brehs and brehettes are in povety due to the terrible choices they have made and continue to make so again self accountability is needed.

Just because someone lives in poverty doesn't mean they beat or assault their wife / family either. It's just a risk factor, and it's magnified when people are marginalized.

Some of the hardest working people live in poverty and just can't get ahead because they're stuck in a cycle from overbearing police that issue city government fines for revenue to predatory payday loans, that constantly keep people in debt.

Guess what our community has been undermined at every corner throughout history, including now.

Black interpersonal domestic violence between opposite sexes is more the direct end result of poverty, limited access to resources, health care barriers and low quality education.

There is no disparity of BM assaulting BW from in middle class or upper middle class settings at alarming rates. Does it happen I’m sure it does, but is it the norm fukk no.


Now back to the root of the problem, America is built on inequality and inequity, until America addresses these issues don’t expect much to change, only marginally.

I'm glad you said this, and not just in regards to this thread, most black plight is the end result of everything you mentioned, yet it's rarely brought up even though the state of blackness in this country is discussed ad nauseam. We live and suffer in the house that racism built, so of course our reality is ugly sometimes. If you want change, tear that house down and watch it ripple through us and our future generations.
