I think this had a worse fall off than JJK
Oh hell no :mjlol:

Fujimoto went in with Part ones ending and had to start over and build up characters after all he killed off most of them in part one. He literally had to build up Asa's character for that reason. Now the focus is back on Denji and it constantly been a slow burn focuses on whether he prefers a normal life or being chainsaw man. There are a number of things Fujimoto has set up like with Control, Fami, War and Death devils that is really intriguing. I get people getting bored of it being slow paced atm since this is one LONG arc.

There is a reason why so many here tell people to hold off reading part two. CSM is one of the series where it is so much better to read as binge and really suffers reading weekly imo. And part two is even worse then part one to read weekly.

JJK went from a tightly written series with some awesome character focus up through Shibuya. To where since then its been a fukking mess and Gege's writing is all over the place especially with the story. Lately it has been entertaining and if that is good for you that's fine. JJK at its point is written in a corner where either Sukuna wins or a boat load of BS is about to come.

Nah I held on for a long time but had to drop part w

Didn't pull me in

I'm still in on JJK

Denji is a boring protagonist on his own and none of the new people pulled me in

Kind cool we got to see Nayuta and how she was on the path to be just like Makima unsurprisingly. God bless Denji for making that impact on her.

Now where is Denji and I am wondering how Nayuta is now :jbhmm:. I don't think she went in and killed those humans, curious where this leads next.

Asa/Yoru
Reze
Fami
Crazy ballpark Power reincarnated
Himeno reincarnated
Kobeni
The last panel is too on the nose for fujimoto
:patrice::jbhmm:
Some theory heads are saying it can't be Asa/Yoru because she always a long dress. The Reze return dream is alive.

Detention Center's bound to have some interesting devils lurking.

Consider that on the bottom it says "It would take a WAR to compromise this facility's safety." I think it's pretty evident that it's Asa & Yoru.

Also considering this could be the point where the Asa and Denji parts of the story branch and move forward together, it would be such a Fujimoto way to go about it. It would have a more impact than let's say Reze. Which is more what the fans would want.

With Power, I feel like if she comes back it will be Denji finding her not the other way around.

Got to admit it has been fairly slow, but bit by bit I am liking how Fujimoto has wrote up part two more nd more. Tho the change from being such a fast-paced battle shounen to what is more so a focus on the characters themselves has been interesting.

A lot of heads are pointing to "it would take a War" as being way too obvious from Fujimoto for it to be Asa/Yoru. She's also not wearing the usual Asa/Yoru outfit, though there could be plenty of reasons for that. It's still got a "we want Reze back" vibe to it, but I can see the case for it...and the order of hybrids coming back stopped right at her turn.

Part of me wonders if we're about to be reintroduced to more characters in the detention facility, or at least new versions of old devil powers. Fumiko's eyes have been screaming "snake devil" all along, and I could see this becoming like a messed up Fujimoto version of Impel Down where Asa (or Reze or whoever) and Denji free other locked up devils to help with the escape...then hopefully some other devils/fiends from Part One could come back.

Sidenote: I love how many inversions of Part One Fujimoto has baked into Part 2. He's flipped the control devil, the main female colleague went from a narcissistic liar to an insecure overly honest girl, and the big bro figure went from stoic to detached. The first extended arc in Part one gave us devil/fiend allies, and this time we're getting hybrid/human enemies. The big threat went from trying to force out Chainsaw Man to trying force Denji to conceal Chainsaw Man...lots of fun flips.
