I'm honestly surprised they don't have it week 0, ain't like there's any other big game that week. Have all the patriotic shyt at the beginning of the season so the the playoffs end the week of New Year's

I may be wrong but I think during week 0, the Cadets/Midshipmen are just coming back from Summer leadership camps, immersions with other units around the world, internships with industry, etc. Outside of the Ivies, those fukkers really take academics seriously. You can get booted for getting caught using Grammarly.

Wasn't the game on MLK day, which was also the Trump inauguration day, which was also the day where the NBA had a full schedule of national televised games and was still a day a lot of people still had to work? Just too much going on the day of the Championship game.
