Being a CEO is also about strategy and decision making.
It's just "looking at data", reducing it to that is just like reducing other knowledge worker roles to "Filing papers" or "doing math".

Very, very wrong and it again gives AI mystical powers that it really doesn't have in reality.

This is a thought experiment, nothing more.

I mean a lot of CEO'ing is just that.

Elon is kinda bonkers for a CEO, but Sundar @ Google, Tim Cook at Apple, Calhoun at Boeing, Ola Kallenius @ Daimler, etc - they have basically just followed whatever Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc tell them to do.
  • Focus on the Luxury Market
  • Reduce Quality
  • Reduce Pay
  • Collude on prices, collude on wages
  • Reduce Staff
  • Buy Backs
  • Try to skirt monopoly laws
There's not a whole lot of new "business" ideas out there.

People are really ok working directly for a computer :dead: Imagine a hacker hacks into your boss and kills the company because it was fed bad data.. then what?

Hard times are when a man has worked at a job for 30 years - 30 years - and they give him a watch, kick him in the butt, and say, 'Hey, a computer took your place, daddy.' That's hard times!
