I'm surprised Cena didn't bring up 'Suffering Succotash', when Roman was struggling. And I didn't think that line could of been beaten but that pause that Reigns did, was alot worse, you could see that Roman wanted to disappear, right there and then. If you cannot think of anything, don't stand there, do something, smirk, ponder and walk around the ring.

Stop it. Every time guys get to go back at Cena just as hard as they go at him. Some people have lit him up, like Punk, Dean, and Miz. Some people have merely held their own, like Bryan and AJ. Others, like Roman, got cooked.
Complain year ROUND about scripts being bad then complain when two guys go out there free to crack back and forth just because the one you don't like can't talk to save his life.

That promo was fukking stupid. That's the kind of promo people shyt on Vince Russo for. shyt made absolutely no sense and is a terrible way to build to a fake wrestling match. The whole thing almost felt like a punishment to Roman. Obviously Cena was going to eat him alive even in a normal promo, but to do the worked shoot shyt and outright shyt on Roman for failing to be the guy the company wants him to be (and also randomly taking a shot at Taker), talking about heel turns and 4th walls....shyt is silly. "You can't bury me, John."
This is how you get an angle where Goldberg refuses to take Kevin Nash's powerbomb and forces Nash/Steiner to call a match on the fly much to the kudos of the announcers. There's no benefit to a promo like that. Roman can squash Cena in 40 seconds and Cena already won.
Agreed. I don't like this as much as I thought I would simply because of how they're setting this up. The gap between Cena/Reigns on the mic is so large that it doesn't look like a competitive sparring match. The worked shoot aspect makes it 10 times worse and has been proven to really only work when both guys are capable of good to great mic work. This didn't make either of them look any better because it only reinforced everything we already knew about both of them.

He's gets the ultimate green light against a guy like Roman that knows he still suffers consequences and can't really afford to be shooting strays at people. Cena just did another pipebomb, meaning he rattled off all the shyt people know already like he was saying something new. LMAO @ I used the US title to bring in AJ Styles and Kevin Owen.

I was hoping Reigns was gonna avoid signing the contract last night by saying "nobody comes out better from fighting you win or lose" and loosely or directly reference Rusev/Corbin.
It would have made much more sense for Cena to slowly start ethering Reigns more and more until he finally signed the contract either next week or the week after and let him own Cena on the physical side (or at least do the full lockerroom/security breakup).
