I follow recruiting and I genuinely can’t ever remember this happening before. Guys team up and split duties on loaded high school teams but they always have a team where they are the guy to get reps. I recall reading in a book about Kobe that Joe had him on two AAU teams. One of the teams were for elite competition and one team was so he could be the man and experiment.

Any guards yall can think of that fits the never the man requirement @CantStop @aceboon ?

Yall brehs gotta back to the middle school days. When in Ohio he was still sorta passive/play the right way guy. Some of the best players on that team are now playing football because they didn't grow in the their desired position.

He simply didn't go all in by not going the Lavar/Deion route to expedite his growth. That and using his Lakers/Klutch facilities & resources/players to really fix his weaknesses. They orchestrated all of this like Bronny would just figure it out cause he's Bron's son. They partnered with Sierra Canyon for a TV show deal cause they just assumed it'll all work out.



This was the game that caused Bron to think Bronny was NBA ready and made him make that statement. He legit thought this was who he was going to be the rest of the season.

Bron's lack of patience or inability to not overreact gets him in trouble.

He's got a backwards way of doing things. Cause I suggested here he should have had Bronny training with the Lakers players for years. Seems that exactly the plan now...just at 19/20. Which is wild.

I will say he's got 2 years guaranteed. So for as trash as he is now & as bad as Bron screwed up his development there are still kids who would cherish that opportunity. Bronny gotta figure out how to make an open jumper and improve his BBIQ. Might be too late in the game for handles cause he's too passive.
