I agree if they had of claimed that as soon as she returned it may have pressured the police enough to not charge her because tensions would have been too high and it would cause a public relations nightmare. They fukked up bad because they don’t control the narrative now and lots of people have turned on her and want blood.She actually may be charged and see a little jail time now if it all turns out to be a lie. I honestly still kinda think and hope it was a legit mental break

I don’t think it was a hoax I think it was a legit mental break. Shes at the age when a lot of people with schizophrenia first start experiencing symptoms. My first concern was people running with the kid angle and how kids in the future may be passed by who need help but hopefully something productive can come from this and it bring awareness and a national conversation in our community about breaking the stigmas of mental health issues and it encourages people to seek help
