Only washed nikkas know who this is bruh. Anyway Cardi needs somebody to proof read her shyt. Christ
She’s huge among other things because she types like the young girl/person in her target demographic types on Instagram/Social Media nowadays

It’s probably natural to her but if she makes 0 grammar mistakes she’ll leave a lot of fans feelong disconnected from her

Classic “underdog on top” shyt

I’m convinced anyone who thinks she’s a plant or bought her career is a straight cac or a nikka who don’t mess with black women. Because if you had any interaction with a black woman under 30 in the past 5 years you will know how popular Cardi was amongst them

That was her building the image/fame to make the the rest of this shyt possible.

Cardi is a star, no doubt about that. And that stardom is all her. But she's not an artist. There is a difference bruh, anybody can make music, rap music especially. But I don't want to see this genre turn into an avenue for people who are famous for nothing to monetize that "clout".

The music industry used to get folks tf outta here with that. Remember when Eddie Murphy was dropping music and that nikka can actually sing. But standards are so low that parlaying instagram fame is a viable avenue to rap stardom.

But it's already happening, after all Cash Me Outside, Bonk and Blac Chyna all trying to follow this blueprint. Lord help us on the day Kylie Jenner decides to rap.

You talking this up like some epic against the odds story when realistically this probably happened 2 years ago for some club appearance that was most likely earned by social media/reality tv fame which is my point exactly. ..

I'm sure the nikkas she opened for put out at least one or two mixtape themselves and they dont have record deals. Should they have followed her lead and focus on their social media clout over rapping?

After all once theyre poppin enough someone can just write their music for them later on and no-ones the wiser, right? Why give a fukk about rapping to be a rapper, where you can get to the highest stage in rap just by being famous?

You know, I was about to do a whole "keep that same energy when it's ____" spiel, but I got curious and decided to search "plant" with your posts and see for sure.....

Why am I not surprised?

But wait....

Here is your own definition of industry plant....and while here you reach to define Kendrick with it, shyt captures Cardi's career in truer words than I could have thought to type. :laff:

- Signed to the label famous for manufacturing artists "offically" less than a year after her first music project
- Already proven that her music is made for her by the label
- She existed as a celeb with no legit props/respect from the rap community until 2 years ago

This is perfect :laff: Thank you for proving without a doubt yall nikkas base your standards 100% on image and hype.

ummmm what?

- Buzz has nothing to do with whether someone is a plant
- The battle rapping is in the context of him "grinding" before becoming a star.

Mind you, it took less projects for Cardi to reach the mainstream than chance. But go on and tell me how he's the most blatant plant

You know how Luke Skywalker was amazed at how those kids managed to be wrong with everything that they said? This is like that for me.

So much wrong info that I don't even know where to start but since you went treasure hunting in my post let's start there.

Kendrick Lamar is a plant. You see I know this because I met him at a industry event thrown by wait for it....Interscope. Want to know why he was there and how he introduced himself to me? Kendrick who just signed a deal with Interscope. Cool guy, never thought about him after that then months later Section 80 dropped. Then the whole Dr Dre found him rapping in comptCoand is signing him to carry on the legacy crap came around. I asked the reason why I was even at that party,my homeboy who is a Interscope marketing executive about it and he told me that I should be used to it by now seeing how this is the second time Jimmy Iovine has cut Dre check to lend his credibility to a west coast rapper. The first time? He was on the shelf until Dre shoehorned him into a group of east coast rappers who wanted west coast appeal. See I'm not here just talking to impress internet bozos.

One day I'll break down how I know plant the rapper is a plant but I can't without naming names and dates.

All that jibber jabber about cardi not being a real artist is bullshyt. I got news for you son, EVERY POPULAR FEMALE ARTIST SINCE THE MID 90'S HAS HAD GHOSTWRITERS. The first thing labels do when they sign female artist is pair them with males to make music so I hope you keeping that same energy because I'm not going dumpster diving through your post to find out.

You sitting here trying to bring back the glory days of hip hop correcting itself. Them days is over, they not coming back. Its a new era of the rap business. The fact that you think that the catch me outside girl and cardi are the same thing says that you don't know what you're talking about and you just hating cardi to hate. It's obvious that you're upset that she's been rapping for two years and has gotten this far. Say what you want about cardi but she's a worker. It doesn't matter how you feel about it.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
she's right though... how many flops upon flops upon flops do we see every fukking year... if all a label had to do was dikk sucking and pocket filling, everybody would go interstellar with their fame...

the machine can only get you into the room... your music has to close the deal.. fans ain't being paid to buy concert tickets and stream music.. fans ain't being paid to go on youtube a billion times...

although i hate her shyt... the beats knock and it's ratchet approved... she got her lane and i'm sure billions have been spent trying to get other females the same shine... it didn't work

Cool story, so your entire criteria of him being a plant is you seeing Kendrick at an event being signed and marketed after 5+ years in the game but before you heard of him. Dude has work going back to the early 2000s.

So walk me through the cognitive dissonance on how this makes Kendrick a plant, but not Cardi? Especially by the definition of it you already used.

Im hip, and already broke down why.

"Hype and image is all yall care about"

I mean if this is your attempt at justifying it, cool. But don't chirp up to the claims of her being manufactured if your only retort is "So?", you gotta shut up and eat that. You arguing it while not even denying the shyt lowkey

Mind you there are female artists who do make their own music, females mcs included. the difference between other artists having ghostwriters back then versus rappers is those artists had to have some type of talent to deliver those lyrics, not just an image.

You sitting here trying to bring back the glory days of hip hop correcting itself. Them days is over, they not coming back. Its a new era of the rap business.
nikka fukk rap business. I don't make a penny off this shyt. I cared about this shyt as art and put my bread on it. Yall nikkas worship money and hype, which is the exact reason the game is watered down the way it is now.
This is where you should apply that Luke Skywalker metaphor to yourself.

Believe it or not I actually like Cardi. I like some of her songs too, I don't front like catchy shyt can't get play from me. I Like That kinda goes.

What I dislike is bigger than her. Her career is pretty much the case study of how any type of artistic standard gone from the genre and that rap is just a monetization of fame now, nothing more. It's been a sinking feeling I got from the careers of many artists but this confirms it.

It's the green light that lets Cash Me Outside girl exist, she was signed to the same label cardi is on the week Bodak Yellow hit Top 5 no lie :laff: There was a thread then. #Sameenergy

They're connected, they're manufactured and "it doesn't matter how you feel about it" :umad: :umad::umad: :umad:

Cardi B was rapppng before Bodak yellow...my cousin who lives in NY text d me and said they actually bumping her shyt in the clubs

Rest of thr country wasn’t feeling on her like that

Until she dropp d Bodak

Any rapper who comes out the gate with ghost writers isn’t a real artist and I can also assume she bought her way into the industry as well as a plant
