At the end of the day, blame Sony and Spiderman.

Had Spiderman not come into the MCU, Captain Marvel would've dropped before Infinity War.

Ant-man was supposed to be the only movie to drop in between Infinity War and Endgame.

So it was either going to be Thor, Black Panther or Captain Marvel that was going to get squeezed in between. Both Thor and BP occurred before Infinity War and actually led up to the events of the movie so you couldn't drop them after it. Ant-Man. Captain Marvel was the easy choice since all of it took place in the past so it wouldn't matter.


This is the beginning of the Characters story arc and she will evolve. Captain American went from being 2nd string to All-Star HOF over the course of his arc.

Top of the mid-tier Marvel flicks for me. Few things stopping it from upper tier and Brie's not one of them.

Bland first movie but I feel like there are aspects they can improve on with a sequel the story didn't give Brie Larson any help at all.

She's forced to be bland until she remembers who she was before the Kree abduction.

They need a better writer and director for the sequel. Basically how I felt about Captain America First Avenger.

This shyt was way better than Dr.Strange, Ironman 3 and the first 2 Thor movies combined
Brie/Sam chemistry was A1..
Hell..
The whole cast had great chemistry..
And nikkas conveniently leave out why she was so stoic..
To control her emotions like buddy told her
I think the reason people didn’t like this movie..
Was clearly not liking Brie as a person..
She wasn’t miscast..
It’s just her politics and odd personality..
People don’t get..
She is a white liberal through and through..
When she speaks on subjects..
It’s from a place of authority..
Not fully understanding the whole subject at large..
Even if the message is good..
A lot of white women in general..
Don’t know how to read a room..
Or..
Fully understand their privilege..
But that’s a whole other argument..

The placement of this movie was off is all it was. It came after infinity war.


The kree vs. Scrull beef was also a part of the movie and her origin and it should've had a proper set up as well (even though the kree have been in the MCU for a while now).
