This could be just as bad as GL though, I don't know what some people saw in this trailer to get hyped up for.Late to the convo! Looks ok, its a first trailer, folks need to chill out - Marvel have got us spoiled to the point that we getting greedy now as fans, be patient!
When I saw the Blockbuster Video
This is a slightly odd take, but after watching and my initial enthusiasm subsiding, I actually started to feel angry...cause watching the trailer and seeing whats coming with this film...THIS is what Green Lantern movie should have been. The characters and stories have so much similarity and watching this just hit me with more disappointment in what GL was and now the debacle that has been the DCEU. This isn't about stanning, it's about my love for comic characters and the desire to see them brought to life and DCEU let us down.

Of course we have no idea, but it can't be as bad as GL based purely on the track record of the MCU and as someone else mentioned, the strength of the individual character movies of the MCU means we can have high expectations and as such I'm reminded of the failure that was GL.

Entirely my own opinion but I actually enjoyed Dark World and found Thor 1 to be a weaker movie and re-watching AoU again in the lead up to IW it couldn't touch Avengers but I didn't hate it as much as first watch. My question to you is, are either of those as bad individually as Green Lantern movie...? Be honest the answer is no; because of the foundation of the MCU, the basement for this movie is IronMan 3 (my bottom film of the MCU).
Again, entirely your own opinion - I think the space based elements of the films have been done well since the arrival of GOTG and fans will likely be keen to see more of the Kree and now Skrulls as well.
But I like debate so please elaborate on why you think the character is boring, I would genuinely like to hear your opinion?

She's just never been interesting to me because always felt like a "just there" character that they tried to make into their version of Wonder Woman. Her comic is continuously one of the lowest selling, and the whole Civil War II debacle only made things worse. I've always felt that when they finally introduced a mega female character it would be She-Hulk, but i'm not sure if she's completely off limits or if she has the same deal as Hulk.
