I want you to think about what you're saying. You call epic action Generic. Listen to your self for one fukkin second. You're in a comic book film sittin in your chair payin attention n shyt tryin to listen to all the technical bullshyt, when you hould be looking forward to the action scenes. I bet you liked Daredevil. Im ashamed to share threads with you sometimes because of the silly things you say regarding action films. I shouldnt be looking for epic action in a comic book film Why i oughta.
Clown ass dude hasnt even seen the raid 2 yet, but lookin forward to Craptain Ameriturd. :snoop:

Friend, Man of Steel's action was nothing I haven't seen in DBZ as a kid countless times, so in that sense, it was generic. Superpowered beings crashing into each other and destroying scenery.

Daredevil was trash.

Nobody said you shouldn't be looking forward to action. But comic book movies are primarily about comic book characters. The action follows from that. If you want to see a movie that's just one action scene after another with no characterization whatsoever and a protagonist that could be switched out for any generic action star, these comic book movies weren't made with you in mind. There is a whole different genre for that.

Hes just trying to be different knowin damn well he wont see it again until it comes on TNT during thanksgiving.

I'll keep it real, I paid to see The Amazing Spider-Man 4 times in the theater, Dark Knight Rises 6 times, and Man of Steel 3 times.

And they all were worth the money, but let's be for real here about Cap'n.

Dark Knight Rises was WAY more of a "political thriller" than Captain America 2 was ... I think Garfield is a way better Parker than McGuire too.

What's the story??? I mean might at well tell us since it's only gonna be played in like 12 screens in America :patrice:

Two years after the events of The Avengers, Steve Rogers lives in Washington, D.C., continues to work for the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and struggles to adapt to contemporary society. After meeting and befriending war veteran and PTSD counselor Sam Wilson on a morning jog, Rogers is called to help save a S.H.I.E.L.D. vessel from Algerian pirates led by Georges Batroc. Aboard, he discovers fellow agent Natasha Romanoff extracting data from the ship's computers, making him question whether he should trust S.H.I.E.L.D. At the agency's headquarters, the Triskelion, Nick Furyintroduces Rogers to Operation: Insight, three Helicarriers linked to spy satellites and designed to preemptively eliminate threats. Rogers later visits the elderly Peggy Carter at a nursing home.

Later, Fury is denied access to information on Operation: Insight, and on his way to rendezvous with Maria Hill is ambushed by assailants disguised as police officers. A mysterious assassin called the Winter Soldier blows up Fury's SUV. Fury escapes and sneaks into Rogers' apartment, but after handing Rogers a USB flash drive he is gunned down by the Winter Soldier. Rogers gives chase, and his neighbor reveals herself as S.H.I.E.L.D.'sAgent 13. Fury appears to die in surgery, and Hill recovers the body.

The next day, Rogers is summoned by senior S.H.I.E.L.D. official Alexander Pierce. When Rogers withholds Fury's information, Pierce brands him a fugitive. Hunted by the agency, Rogers meets with Romanoff; using data in the flash drive they discover an old S.H.I.E.L.D. underground base within abandoned U.S. Army base Camp Lehigh, Roger's World War II camp, in in New Jersey. They activate a 1970s computer containing the preserved consciousness of Arnim Zola, who reveals that when S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded after World War II, HYDRA secretly operated within its ranks. HYDRA plans to use the new Helicarriers to selectively kill 20 million people whom Zola's data-mining algorithm has identified as potential threats. Rogers and Romanoff narrowly escape death when a S.H.I.E.L.D. missile destroys the bunker.

They enlist the help of former paratrooper Wilson, and subsequently acquire the classified "Falcon" flight-exoskeleton he once harnessed. After deducing Jasper Sitwell is a HYDRA member and coercing him to reveal Pierce's plan, the trio is ambushed by the Winter Soldier — whom Rogers believes is James "Bucky" Barnes, his best friend who was presumed KIA during WWII. They are captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. and its S.T.R.I.K.E. team but rescued by a disguised Hill. She leads them to a hideout where they discover Fury is alive and planning a mission to prevent Pierce from launching Operation: Insight by replacing a chip within each Helicarrier to override their satellite control.

After members of the World Security Council arrive for the Helicarriers' launch, Pierce holds them hostage and reveals HYDRA's true motives. Rogers and Wilson storm two Helicarriers and replace the controllers, but the Winter Soldier destroys Wilson's suit and confronts Rogers at the third. They fight, with Rogers trying to revive Bucky's memories. Meanwhile, Fury and Romanoff confront Pierce and force him to unlock access to S.H.I.E.L.D's database so Romanoff can expose HYDRA's motives to the public by leaking classified information. After a brief conflict, Fury shoots Pierce dead. Aboard the third Helicarrier, a wounded Rogers replaces the final controller, allowing Hill to override the satellite operation and have all three vessels destroy one another. The Helicarrier carrying Rogers and the Winter Soldier crashes into the side of the Triskelion, where Wilson battles compromised agent Rumlow, who had earlier tried to capture Rogers.

Rogers falls off the vessel into the river. Slowly remembering his past, the Winter Soldier pulls Rogers from the water before disappearing. With S.H.I.E.L.D. in disarray, Fury destroys the last traces of his identity before heading to Europe in pursuit of HYDRA's remaining cells under the cover of his apparent death. Romanoff appears before a Senate subcommittee and later gives Rogers a dossier on the Winter Soldier program.

In a mid-credits scene, Baron von Strucker discusses HYDRA plans with subordinates. He possesses Loki's scepter, and observes two prisoners: one with superhuman speed, the other withtelekinetic powers. In a post-credits scene, the Winter Soldier visits the Smithsonian Institution and sees a mural depicting him fighting alongside Captain America.

Come on breh.... Level with me..... The Raid 2 is fight porn....... It's not Inception or Citizen Kane.

I'm sure you can summarize it in 2 sentences :shaq:
Captain America -
man fights to save enemies of a compromised government agency from annihilation
The Raid 2 -
Man goes undercover to weed out crooked cops, who are in bed with local crime lords and under the control of the Japanese Mafia

Its obvious which one sounds more interesting.
