This is what the universe thing is made for, characters from all over dropping in and out of different films
. I'm starting to think this why these last batch of films have been stand alones and less connected than the first wave. It has to be over after this movie. They can't expect people to just go back to stand alones after this. It's going to feel far too anti-climatic. This is the first movie kicking off the phase
it's gonna change everything.
after Civil War you have the end of Asgard, which sounds like an absolute event, and a bunch of new standalones. they're doing it right. Not like we're gonna have to watch Tony Stark fight a bunch of robots for the 7th time.

I mean isn't that the case already?? Besides thor and GOTG every movie at the very least has had cameos anyway. And i think it's safe to say it's only gonna get bigger from here on out. Not to mention Thor's world as we know it is ending in Thor 3 anyway.

But honestly. What we do know about the whole Hulk in space thing.
We do know a early draft of AoU script had Hulk being sent off by Stark to space in fear that he couldn't be trusted around civilians. This was suppose to set up a hulk crossover in GOTG in the event GOTG didn't do as much as they expected. Hulk in the GOTG sequel would give some much needed star power to the series. This was their plan.
However GOTG does WAY BEYOND Marvel's expectations and now James Gunn basically has free reign to go where he wants to go with the sequel. So Hulk really isn't "needed" now because GOTG already proved it can stand on it's own.
This is why we have the "vauge" ending of Hulk's plotline that we have in AoU. However i still expect him to end up with the guardians. He just won't have a huge part there.
Fiege is on record saying the plans they have for Hulk in phase 3 are huge. Yet phase 3 does not have a solo hulk movie and GOTG sequel is the only sequel in phase 3 to not have it's subtitle revealed yet.n Cap 3 entire cast(sans spidey because he hasn't been casted yet) was just revealed and Mark Rufflao is not in the film. And we know he not gonna be in Thor 3.
Put 2 and 2 together folks!! Come Comic Con 2016 let us all remember this powerful post and the sermon that im preaching to yall right now

My gawdJust found out that The Winter Soldier writers not only wrote the script for this but are also following the Russo brothers to write Infinity War 1 & 2!
