Now that I think about it.

Cotto/Canelo kinda played out like a poor mans Swift/Peterson. Decent mixture of boxing/punching and exchanges. Just lacked the late drama Swift and Peterson had.

Canelo stamina is shyt though. If he pressed a bit more he could have gotten a stoppage or made dude quit. I kept waiting for him to really pick it up late and it never happened. He'd throw harder, but not really try to overwhelm him with activity. nikka clearly had him running late.

that's the thing....cotto was running. and he's talented enough to survive. dude was basically fighting just to stay up. he knew he was done.
