Roach had a good career but as of now he has no idea how to face a fighter that's boxing and not brawling/ or stationary. Canelo made adjustments after rd 2 but Roach went wrong about the fight. If he's saying at the middle of the ring, of course because he puto on so much water weight and his footwork/stamina would be suspect but instead don't jab him cotto "just move to the right and land that left hook" He's caught up in his own world. He just wanted to be on the news talking about how he got Cotto to rejuvenate the left hook and how he used it to beat Canelo.

I thought Canelo clearly won, but it wasn't some type of domination. Cotto was outboxing him in mad spots and took at least 4 rounds. Those scorecards were terrible.

Them Ginger body shots and combination punching is what won the fight. Cotto at this point in time aint durable enough to take that type punishment and still pull out a victory. Last time he dug deep and did that was the Clottey fight and that was a long time ago.

Canelo needs to improve his footwork in order to beat #GGGoodboys though. That nikka is food if he thinks he can sit in the pocket like that and exchange constantly. Dude tries to over power everyone, but I don't think he can do that in that type of fight. He'll be fighting someone that's bigger and stronger that uses a similar style more effectively.

Great fight though and one I'd like to see up there with Krusher/Superman.
