Way more activity in this fight then Danny/PED

Yeah it definitely had more/better punching, but nobody really took it to the next level like Peterson did in those late rounds. That's really what I felt Canelo was missing in his performance.
You know that extra gear where he turns it up a notch.

Crawford has it.

I think @MIAlien said they made a 8 mill profit.....I think the ppv is going to do really well my fb timeline was jumping by non Rican/Mexican casuals who were watching. They are probably going to make some serious bank off of this.

Rigo might get the bushes again tho :francis:

there aint no game plan that woulda gave cotto this fight. quite simply because once he felt canelo's power he was took shook to sit on anything. same thing with lara. he felt canelo's power and was terrified the rest of the fight. no trainer woulda been able to change that. I give cotto much respect though because at least he showed more heart than lara's punk ass...even if it got him some more lumps. but canelo was just too much. canelo didn't just outbully cotto tonight, he OUTBOXED him. too fast, too strong. too good.:Canelol:

It won't happen but I would get hyped if this shyt popped if the plan is for Canelo to fight GGG in September.

I would much rather see Canelo vs Lee than against Bradley, Bradley too small for that fight

Yep pretty much.

Cotto had some good moments, he definitely showed more heart than Lara, but at the end of the day he can't employ a winning strategy long enough to beat a young hungry strong hard punching guy like Canelo. Soon as he takes some hard shots he starts giving ground and the rest is history.

Canelo won by bullshyt...Watch the fight again here http://www.exclusiveworldpremiere.tv/live-stream-cotto-vs-canelo

He didn't win by the fact he consistently landed the harder punches. He didn't win by the fact he landed more punches. He didn't by the fact he had landed with a higher connect% and allowed himself to avoid punches to the tune of a lower connect% punch hitting him. He didnt win by the fact he visibly hurt Cotto numerous times. No...none of that. Canelo won by bullshyt :mjlol:

@patscorpio @GREENandYELLOW

Canelo in the post conference just said:

See you at 155.15:smugbiden:

#CaneloCartel

:canelocartel:

That is why I was rooting for Canelo. I had no doubts that Canelo would eventually fight GGG, hopefully with those comments it is sooner than later.

Watched via stream, so don't want to give a definite score yet, but it seemed like a pretty easy Canelo victory. Surprised reading through this thread how many liked what Cotto did.

Regarding negotiations, staying with what I have said. If GGG feels it is right for him and he needs to make the fight and has to go down in weight, then he needs to make that decision. But it is a MW championship fight and they both rehydrate to the same weight, so I have no problem if GGG playns and sticks to only fighting at 160. There is nothing wrong with that to me. Not when you are fighting for the WBC MW belt and the lineal title. To me it looks worse if the reason a fight can't be made is because a fighter won't fight at the MW limit. :manny:
"My weight class". :mjlol: What is this Danny weight or JCC? You fight at 155, what weight class is that? You are above 154 and just won the MW title...sounds like the MW weight class to me. That is okay, take an adjustmentioned fight and "get your weight up" and we can meet after. :sas2:

That said, I understand Canelo has the bargaining power, never denied that. Hopefully they can work something out because it would be a great fight.

Fight was decent because it was two high profile guys going at it, but I thought it was going to have more action. Glad I streamed, since I am not invested in eithe guy, but was considering it because I thought it could be FOTY worthy. Instead it was a solid fight, but more of the drama came from the anticipation and the highost profile nature of the event.

Didnt see anything in the fight that changed my opinion if either guy fought GGG. #GGGoodBoys know we may be the B side in a marketing standpoint, but we definitely would be the favorite in the matchup. Still GGG via punishing victory. :banderas:

Lineal Champion with or without an organization belt is and will remain Canelo:sas1:

You heard Roy....GGG needs Canelo, Canelo doesn't need him:ahh:

See you at 155 and if you refuse, go aheas and you take the vacant WBC Championship which is worthless without Canelo being attached to it because he's now the Lineal Champion:smugbiden:

GGG could acquire all 4 organization belts and Canelo will still be #1 at Middleweight and considered the True Champion while GGG would be #2 at best:wow:

I'm shocked Cotto didn't go down...showed heart

HBO was dikriding Canelo way too hard...them compubox numbers seemed way off too...one of them rounds went like this...

Canelo Corner: "don't let that happen again canelo"

Roach : that was a good round

Lampley: "compubox has Canelo outlanding cotto 3 to 1 that
Round 20+ to 7:gladbron:"

:dahell:

Them scorecards were bullshyt

Canelo looked good...imagine if instead of GGG fighting lemeuix...Lemeuix fought someone else he could knock out on this undercard to look good

Then you make a unification ppv all in house Canelo vs Lemeuix...400k easy

I don't have a problem either way. If Canelo wants to go for 155 that is his right as A-side. If GGG wants to give in or stay strong at 160 I don't have a problem with that either. :manny:
True Canelo will have the lineal championship and that will haunt GGG. But Canelo will also be haunted by the fact that if he doesn't fight GGG, just like Cotto, everyone will still think GGG is better. Canelo has too much pride of wanting to be a great fighter, that is why even if it doesn't happen next, or if weight negotiations is a big contentious point, I think Canelo and GGG will eventually come together. Then we all win. That will be a much better fight than Canelo-Cotto. :blessed:
