Breh...I don't know what Canelo was thinking, because it looks bad. He told everyone after his fight with Khan, in the post conference, that he would fight lil g next at 160 and now he's backing down. Im hoping he faces lil g next, but if he doesn't:snoop:

its bad P.R. on one hand. if I were GBP, I would have Canelo out there ackin a fool right now sayin GBP wanted him to vacate but he didnt want to. I mean they not even good at playin make-believe right now. on the other hand. Canelo has a lot of casual fans. to them this type shyt matters a damn. only us hardcore give a fukk about runnin his name down. but then we here watchin PPVs on streams :mjlol:n beggin for lanks. :dead:

GGG is good but he is hardly a guy to be ducking IMO. I dont like racists :wtb: but Kovalev has proven a lot more. Kovalev is better I would have to say. GGG is like Margarito was a few years ago, he really aint all people think he is. funny with me saying that because I enjoy his fights and actually like him as a fighter.

lets ignore the fact loeffler said negotiations are still going GREAT. they had 3 days left to make the fight or canelo was gonna be stripped regardless. even loeffler said they respect canelo for sticking to his word and dropping the belt if negotiations were gonna go over the deadline. you really don't know anything at this point.

Only thing I know is that Canelo's next fight better be against lil g at 160.

A lot of talking in circles in here though :jbhmm:

Above all else, Canelo's very own fanbase aren't co-signing this. If you're a fan of Ric Flair, you cheer for him when he plays dirty, when the horsemen interfere, and when he plays the businessman to avoid scraps on anything other than his terms.

But Mexicans demand their fighters be Stone Cold Steve Austin's, and if you're a Stone Cold fan and he pulled them Flair stunts he'd be looking like a fraud.

Canelo knows his reputation is at stake here, he's just really salty about it because he thinks the situation is unfair. Problem is, his fans demand/want different things from him than Floyd's :manny:

in a way I disagree. boxing has short selective memories. no one ever said he was JCC or MAB. he has always been known as the antithesis of those guys. on the other hand, cant be callin up a fighter from 147 with perceived glass jaw then ducking GGG...a guy who really hasnt done anything special. he beat some good fighters but those guys had already been beaten. dont go thinkin Lemeiux is anything to write home about. the same guy I saw Rubio stop? :mjlol:people think thats a good look for GGG because Lemeiux looked like a killer against........Tapia :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Knew canelo was gonna do this good move on his part. Lil g now has zero leverage. Since canelo doesn't have the belt he is a Jr MW again. No reason for lil g to duck that 155 fade now.

if canelo wants it under 160, then it's gonna be under 160. don't matter what he said after the fight. golovkin said he'd fight anybody 154-168 and changed his mind. canelo has every right to change his mind too:yeshrug:

I agree canelo and GB handled this poorly. if this was anybody other than little g, i'd be pissed about it. but the fact that little g is a ducker and also straight up lied on ward's name to make him look bad to the public....I could give two fukks about dude being played. I still think the fight will happen though:yeshrug:

:camby: yourself from the internet and go develop some reading comprehension. Nothing to do with who Floyd fought, but how. Mexican fans (and I believe it was the breh @ChocolateGiddyUp who has posted comments straight out of Mexico here) don't care about Canelo's point of he had to weight drain for Floyd so GGG should do the same for him. Anything other than him fighting GGG is an excuse and a show of cowardice as far as they're concerned. Floyd fans didn't criticize him for the Cotto and Canelo catchweights, Canelo fans are calling him out for it.
