you talk like he's a real middleweight. he only got the belt cause cotto wanted to defend it. canelo said he could care less about the belt, he just wanted cotto. then he fought khan at 155. you talking like canelo been at 160 for years. he dropped the belt. it's over for him at middleweight. even golovkins team now said they're open to anything and negotiations are going great. who gives a shyt if canelo dropped the belt....would the fight not count to you if there wasn't a belt on the line??....it's 2016, belts don't mean shyt anymore.

that's touching and all but if dropping the belt gets canelo more leverage in negotiations then so be it. he wasn't a real middleweight and never fought at 160 before....if he was holding the belt hostage ok. but he said over and over he didn't care about the belt. the wbc was dumb for putting a 15 day deadline to begin with. there was NO way this fight was getting done in 15 days. he was getting stripped no matter what.

thats right kid choc dropping his belt...i was the most vocal about that action...because he avoided korobov, his mandatory and then tried to win it back when lee stepped in and got it..couldnt even make weight..shyt was disgusting
