This is a great point. I really think a lot of dudes don't realize exactly how much of a cupcake they really are until they get in the presence of dudes who really do have submissive women. Then they have thatmoment.
I remember some of my homies would literally be offended by the way some of my exes would treat me. And some just didn't know how to react at the site of a woman, especially a black woman, submitting and catering to her dude.
Homie : "Man, your girl cooks, cleans, does your laundry and even irons your clothes for the week? Man, I don't know about all that. I don't think I could handle a woman doing all that for me."
Me:...ummm yea....that's just regular girlfriend stuff. Your girl doesn't do that stuff for you?

You're calling Candace Cameron a pet because she said she wants to be led so i think you obviously have some preconcieved notions about how these terms are applied to relationships, friend.Most married women on Earth are led by their husbands. Men are great teachers in how to traverse the demonic realm because its largely been male feet that have seen it all and done it all so we have a lot to offer in passed down knowledge on leadership. It is only a recent phenom that women are able to some semblance of equal footing to men and even still there are less women like this around then you think.
Personally though, friend, i think certain words are triggering false interpretations of what it means for a man to lead, in your mind, friend.

Welp, bottom line: I ain't submitting 100% I'll give most but I still need to watch out for me in the long run, in case my husband pulls a fast one on me.
But if you think that way, then wouldn't you be doing your husband a disservice by even marrying him? Because you would never fully commit to him or the relationship? I always find it funny how people will walk into a relationship with this mindset and then wonder why their relationship is what they think it should be.
