If you're going to disparage Netflix at least clarify why it's not to your liking. I enjoy a lot of the content that's on netflix.
Despite major studios and networks pulling content from netflix so they can have them exclusively on their own streaming platform, netflix has made great strides creating original content and licensing content from foreign studios/networks.

Just not sure what more you can expect $10 a month. I watch Movies, Doucumentaries and binge watch series on there. All the shows aren't great, but they aren't all bad either.
