Outside of the plastic timing chain guides that get brittle over time, the M62/S62's are great. I got 220k on my 2001 740 and it runs smooth and strong af. I did have to do the guides a while back which I was able to do myself. Otherwise I do agree on the v8's being trash for the most part. Their inline 6's are legendary though.

BMW from the front and rear are nice but, the side profile does nothing for me outside of the 8 series. Benz always look like old man cars even with the new refresh of the c and e class. I like what they do with the amg lines tho.

I wanna like the Genesis but I need to see how they hold up over time.

They're already above Infiniti IMO; Cadillac better not become complacent. The engineering of the Genesis models is solid, much like the LS400/430 was when it was released. They're borderline over-engineered TBH.
