Wasn't it interesting just a couple of weeks back it was "wins" that mattered the most and a playoffs appearance. Now Russ has the same amount of wins and RG3 is looking at 10 wins. When Luck is bounced in the first round and throws 3 picks and one of these rookies wins a playoff game that won't matter either.

What makes you think they're scaling back for Russ? Because they run the read option every now and then? I don't understand where you're getting this information from. Because Luck has more attempts? Because it's a traditional offense?

I'm pretty sure I remember reading they did give RG3 the entire playbook PLUS they added in extra components from his college offense. They catered to his passing ability and running ability like a good coach is supposed to do. Actually, now they're focused on his passing because they don't want him running.

Russ started out terribly. He played like shyt, but along the way he learned from his mistakes and has the highest passer rating in the league.

Luck has been a turnover machine since damn near day 1 and that hasn't changed throughout the season.

RG3's offense is infinitely more complex than Luck's BY A LOT. Not even in the same hemisphere. Russ runs an offense that's almost as traditional as Luck's he doesn't run read/option. He runs when the defense gives him the opportunity to take off which is a better decision than throwing into a crowd.

4 straight games with under 50% completion. Tebow never accomplished that.

ALL offense is built on deception. If it wasn't deceptive no one would ever score. Play action pass is deception. Screens are deceptions. Bootlegs are deception. The most basic pass plays in football are built to pull defenders away from the intended target by giving them a decoy. That's deception.

RG3 has to read defenses on 3 and sometimes 4 separate concepts in the same play. He can run, hand off, throw a screen or throw into the secondary. He's smart enough to handle reading the defenses on all of those reads all while the play is going on so the coaches are using his intellect and ability to make a quick decision against the defense. RG3 has WAY more responsibility in his system than Luck has in his system. The coaches tell Luck if it's going to be run vs pass then he has to read the defense meanwhile RG3 has to choose run vs pass vs screen in the second after the ball is snapped then adjust after that.

Honestly, it sounds like you don't understand the offense so all you're doing is calling it bullshyt.

I got no problem is RG3 wins the ROY. His numbers are clearly better then Russel's. But Russel and RG3 shyt all over luck. Besides yards, there isn't anything Luck does better than either of them.

I think Russel could have the best future of all of them. If RG3 doesn't learn to avoid hits, he is going to get hurt every year. Russel is very smart about the hits he takes and getting out of bounds to avoid the big hit.
