That's the only thing I hate about upsets re Mavs over Phoenix, is that team then getting mollywhopped in the next round.

Dallas was never a threat, they are one or two players short to be getting to a finals.

Also this proves the warriors only list to Toronto because of all the injuries. With their guys healthy they are right back in the finals. And Boston is the only team that has a chance if they healthy, Mia can’t keep up with them.

The problem would have been the coaching. Kerr and his staff would make adjustments and Monty wouldn't be quick enough to counter them.

Also CP3 probably would have picked up a random injury.

Nah a Celtics matchup would be a battle. Celtics ability to switch everything and having both Jaylen and Tatum able to go off would be huge.

Also historically no one has beaten the Celtics in the finals, but the lakers and 1958 St. Louis Hawks.....

So they pretty much automatic when they get there.

Outside of the Lakers and Celtics no teams in the NBA have more than 6 championships. Right now the Bulls and Warriors are tied with 6. So lets see what happens...and whats more likely. The Celtics pass the Lakers with 18 championships or the Warriors being the first team outside of the Lakers and Celtics to win more than 6 rings.
